ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 3

Week three.....out of 6.  We are supposed to be half way.  Insert hysterical laugh here.  Or crying.....

As you know I am a last minute linking participant of the One Room Challenge hoping to pull off the impossible task of completing a room makeover in 6 weeks.  Sounds relatively easy....a bedroom right? I'm working on the "bunny hutch" [you can read week one here]

I mean we aren't talking a kitchen reno or anything like that right?  Still with my small disability.....called "can't make decisions" every step is like rock climbing.  Which way do I go?

So what's new this week?  Do I have a plan....yes somewhat.

How about this for progress.  "Operation shiplap" is in full force

I was over there on Saturday so hopefully it's finished and painted....hee haw.

Remember I told you that I wanted to wallpaper the dormers?

 Here were the contenders....

4. Waves

I also picked out the end tables from Pottery Barn

And narrowed down the wall sconces.....

Since the ones above are no longer available from World Market....I am leaning towards the Ikea ones that can also be hardwired.
Boom....I'm on a roll right.

I was inspired by this chair I saw....so I added a large buffalo check to the mix.

I posted this in Instagram with the caption "final selection".

Then it fell apart when I found out the wallpaper is not in stock.

And while at ADAC I saw this fabric from Stark and fell in love.

So I made adjustments......but who knows.  It's a crap shoot right?

Today everything must be ordered....you hear that "Bunny"?

I don't think she understands that this is "real time" baby...... tick freaking tock!

Cue "miracle" please......

Alrighty then....see ya next Thursday!

Reading this post was like looking into a mirror!
I have that very same disability and I have burned my decor bridges with my adult daughters because I want to go over my options so much!
This made me laugh! You will pull it all together- you always do.
I hope you will share this today at Thoughts of Home on Thursday.
Just stop by my blog to join in.
Enjoyed visiting,

I always love reading your posts you are a very talented lady! I have been looking for chairs in the style you are using with the buffalo check. Could you tell me what brand they are and where I could find them? Thanks and good luck with the ORC!

I love the fabric from Stark as well. Would you be able to share what it's called? I think it would look great as drapes in my office.
