I hope you guys had a relaxing holiday break.....3 day weekends need to be the norm right:)

I don't have much today....seems like I am in the middle of all my projects with half finished shots but I will share....cause I am that desperate :)

Speaking of desperate....I totally need to get a keratin treatment as this rain has reminded me I was not blessed with smooth beautiful hair.

Here are a few shots of progress....

This gorgeous Currey & Co mirror was installed over a bar cart.

Kitchens.....the hub of the home.  Probably the one space that can help sell a house right?  So it makes sense that you would invest the most thought [and probably money]  in this part of a remodel.

Some facts we considered when designing this kitchen.
**Once we took the closet wall down it would be visible from the foyer.....
**Adding the black and white cement tile created the WOW factor!
**Open up the space [taking part of the wall down] for easy entertaining.
**Creating hubs....butlers pantry and prep allow for more "cooks" in the kitchen.

Here is the original real estate shot when the house was on the market.

Such a light bright space....

Most are real estate shots as I left before it was totally finished.  You know I am not happy about that!

The Boulder Project.  I'm really sorry it's over.  I had to leave before I could move everything an inch or so.....finish that last layer with some plants and get some perfect detail shots.

For me that was was my baby for 3 months....consuming my thoughts.

Today I have some of the real estate shots along with my iphone pics to share.  You know how the real estate shots are.....wide angle with all the lights on!

A floor plan of the main level for reference.

Remember me?  I'm back from Boulder and as usual it was jam packed with building furniture [epic fail], shopping, styling and coming up with economical ways to pull this project together in 3 days.

This was one of the pieces we tried to build

Um.....after 2 hours we gave up and it is now going back to Target half built and with a bad taste in our mouth.  Don't tell me while I am slaving..... trying to put it together..... to watch a video on how to put the drawers together.

That sent me over the edge.  Hands in the air waving a white flag.  Done.

The weather is changing and I have cute summer clothes on my mind.  I might have said this before but spring only last a hot minute here in Atlanta.

One second we are wearing long sleeves and the next we are sweating.......taking scissors to those sleeves.

I have purchased a few things lately and I discovered a new brand of jeans that rocked my world!  You are probably wondering how that may be but I have a small waist and a rather generous behind so when I find good fitting jeans I want to spread the world:)

OK.....more Southeastern Showhouse goodness for you today!

If you remember I focused mainly on the kitchen on the last post because it rocked my world but today I have some pretty professional pictures and some drab iphone shots taken by me.  You can suffer through those:)

This is the last week to see it!

I hope you guys got a chance to scroll through the One Room Challenge post.  I'm  so amazed at all the talent out there and how they can pull it together so fast!

I can vouch for the pressure.

I have some updates today on my Boulder project. I'll be heading back out there in about 10 days to give this staging thing another whirl!

Let's recap.

If you remember the outside of the house looked like this

We decided early on to paint the house dark because the wood was in bad shape in areas and after we painted my Madison project I'm pretty much obsessed with the look!

In fact the front of the house was in pretty bad shape so the wood was replaced and just to confuse the issue....[why not right]..... was hung horizontally.

Then we made another decision to paint only the front entry area white!

Using natural wood, dark paint and white!

After looking at about a thousand or so outside lights [they had to be statement!] I somehow stumbled on these from Lamps Plus.

Can't wait to see these bad boys installed.....

Remember when you walked in the front door this is what you saw....

And now.....we have this!

I haven't seen it in person yet but I can't wait!

The bathrooms have all been tiled.

Master before

Hall bathroom before

And....bonus room bath before

Some the TV/Den

 Back entry area

Black shiplap!
I'm hitting every trend on this one:)

And you remember my inspiration for the kitchen?

It's starting to come together.....

The kitchen backsplash got installed with the black and white Cement Tile.

Hopefully they will send me some more pictures soon....I used to get zero until I read them the riot act.

The million dollar question is "do we have enough furniture to fill this place up?"

I guess we will see:)

To see more pictures and updates of this Boulder project you can go here, here , here and here

I know you were curious about the Mother Cluckin Fried Chicken Festival I was pretty dang good!

All.  You.  Can.  Eat.

Yep....I am jumping in.....week 4 1/2.

Ha Ha..... JK:)

But I am here to update you on some of the participants in case you have been too busy to check it out!

Every time I don't get invited I have a small little "pity party for one" and then I slap myself into reality and say "girl what chu do not have time anyway!"

Still the ORC will always have a special place in my heart.  Shouldn't I be grandfathered in?  Hee Haw

Let's start with this great DIY from Censational Girl

Uh huh.  Not only does she have time but skills.

This Cole and Son wallpaper is EVERYTHING!
I'm not sure I have seen it up in this colorway but I'm in!

Christine never fails to impress with her skills....and add to that.... she always takes on a whopper of a project.  Similar to building a house from the ground up and decorated in 6 weeks.

Brit from House Updated

Are you kidding me?  I had to re-read to make sure that this was indeed correct.....Brit did this tiling herself.

Here is her plan for a laundry/bathroom.

Joanna is remodeling her living and dining room and I am always excited to see a pretty plan like the one above!

House Of Brinson

Susan and her husband have a great video to show you all the details of their ORC.  Loving this wallpaper they are using!

Abby Mancheskey
I am such a huge fan of Abby's....and this kitchen makeover is going to be INSANE.  I saw on her instastory the cabinets being painted green and just gasped!

The English Room

Holly has her colorful signature style and this plan is no exception!

Lark and Linen

Jacquelyn is making over her living room and of course this neutral room really appeals to me:)

Dwell With Dignity

These sweet hometown girls Cate and Latham from Gordon and Dunning are making over a room for a family. Please follow the DWD link to see how you can volunteer if you are local!

The Glitter Guide

Another neutral space that is killing me [in a good way] is Caitlin's modern organic bedroom.  That bed is everything!

The Nester

Myquillyn is making over in her words "an awkward space" in her home.  Kind of a back entry/mudroom/laundry room.  I can tell this is going to be a WOW moment!

Old Brand New

Holy smokes get over there right now and check out this soon to be incredible space!  Dabito is giving us some color!

Old Home Love

Andy and Candis have 7 kids and are making over their master bedroom in a really old house.  You need to check out the before pictures of this place....whew!

The Pink Pagoda

Get ready for all kinds of loveliness for this sitting room makeover!

The Rambling Renovators

Jen is making over her family room and I am loving the casual neutral tones of this space!

Erica Reitman

Check out this guest house the eclectic feel of this space!  Erica is funny and I think we share a love of reality TV:)

Sketch 42

Of course I love everything on this board....and will be anxiously awaiting the makeover of Nichole's cool vintage style home!

The Suburban B's

Tricia and Erin always give us some eye candy and this time Erin will give her daughter's room a makeover!

The Design Crisis

Erin is making over her kitchen.....dayum girl are you crazy?  So many things can go wrong and I am scared for you:)

What started as a quick recap of a FEW ORC spaces morphed into a complete overview of everyones space.  I just couldn't leave anyone out:)
There is always so much goodness....and each year the stakes get higher!

Linda....congrats on putting together quite the lineup.

Chill out will be the weekend before you know it!
