I hope everyone felt as much love on Mothers Day as they could gather.....I know I sure do miss my Mom and all of her wisdom......

Well.....the install is over and the art arrived the day before the party so that was a huge relief!

Even though I had a plan B....borrow art from somewhere....I was happy not to have that stress in my life.  I hate to disappoint my clients.

Here are a few crappy iPhone pictures.....

Foyer Before

It's amazing how furniture brings a project to life!

I love this chest from Woodbridge Furniture....
I used faux branches so she does not have to worry about what to put there....I like to make it easy:)

On the other side of the foyer is a bench that I ordered but had recovered!

Below after the vertical paneling went in and it was painted.

I kept it symmetrical and  ordered 2 chest, lamps and similar art.

I am real happy with the results!

2 of my favorite Charles Stewart swivel chairs!

Kitchen before

I added a performance rug in the kitchen and back hall.....

This is the view out the back yard!

I did a little styling on the scullery shelves.....

And a little love for the main level laundry room.....

It got some cute puppy wallpaper.....

That is all I got.....but it's been a long time coming for sure.

It's always fun to have neighbors with a sense of humor....when I find "sperm balloons" on my mailbox....haha

Have a good week....I know its Wednesday already so there's that!

I have to say it's been some crazy times here!  Last week I shopped for 3 solid days for an install on Monday.  I was at every HomeGoods and retail store in the city and every afternoon I would have to lug it all in my house.  You couldn't even walk thru my living room!

It all went well except the art did not arrive.  No worries though as it got delivered yesterday and it's getting hung today just in time for the party tomorrow.  Whew....cutting it close Sherry:)

I should have some pictures soon but today is just your typical dump of my week.

Last Sunday Rose and I went over to help Sudi with a little styling in her new condo.

Here is what we started with.  Rose found the table from Crate and Barrel.  It's a small condo so this table will double as an extra dining table also.

We found these vintage chairs at Scott's and the honey color of the wood looks great with the other furniture!

We did find the beautiful vase at one of my favorite Shopping places in Atlanta.....Noah J and Co.  She had the wing chair in the bedroom but I brought it out for some weight.

That piece of art will be hung but she was thrilled with the outcome.  We were pretty pleased with ourselves as she is a tough critic....haha

I mentioned to my sweet client about painting this wall dark and dang if she didn't get it done!  So I picked up a few runners and score!

I love that we are taking this project slow and finding a good mix of things.

She is having a plunge pool installed and I can't wait to dip my toes in it this summer.....

Let's see....what else.  Oh yeah I scooted down to the Mart on Wednesday.....

Saw some pretty things in Currey's new showroom...

This cute wicker valance from Mainly Baskets!

This settee that I ordered for a client....

Ordered a crapload of white jars for a mantel....I have some inspiration I'm working on...haha.

Whoops....back to  Currey!

Love a good sunburst mirror and this one from Gabby is no exception!

So I was at my favorite flea market the other day and how I spotted a surprise to me but I saw this mirrored coffee table under all these things.  After I pulled everything off I realized how pretty it was so I called my client and said come get this beauty!

Of course I got home and googled it to find that it was on 1st Dips for 1600.00!  Let's just say it was a steal:)

I was at a clients delivering some rugs yesterday and they had just finished pretty!

And there you have it....oh yeah I have exciting news!  I just got a summer design intern and Lord not a moment too soon!   She is a junior at UGA and I am hoping she can pull a miracle and help me get my life in order.  That is probably too big of an ask but hey....a girl can dream right!

Also I am not taking my blog to Facebook.  I just have a Design Indulgence Facebook page that you can read my blog on.  But....I will also have another alternative soon.

And last up......
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL OF YOU!  I know it has been a hard year for y'all:)

As always thanks for all of your does not go unnoticed and I really appreciate it!

Well.....well....she's back:)  Yes it has been busy around these parts.  BUT....I have a special treat for you today!  What is that Sherry.....well how about some amazing pictures of the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles sponsored Southeastern Showhouse?  Will that garner some forgiveness for ignoring you?

I was invited for Media Day [gosh I'm lucky] and took about 200 pictures.  Today I will share with you the professional ones they sent me and then I will polish up the iphone pics and share those with you on the next a few years....hahaha.

Y'all I know I say this every year....but it was amazing and I do not think I walked into a single room and said "meh".  Of course I am not a harsh critic because I can almost get behind any design!

Let's just get right to it......

All the resources will be on the main website for the Showhouse!  And the designers......I will list the ones I remember but you can find a list on the website also.  The bedroom above was by Kati Hardwick from B.D. Jeffries.  I don't have to tell you it appealed to my neutral loving heart:)

My friend Chris Holt who owns Noah J and Co did this room and I loved it.....especially the gallery wall!

This bedroom and bath by Amy Newell.  I was all in for the eclectic feeling of this space!

I did not get the info on this one but the pink was spectacular....I got a bunch of detail shots that I will share with you.

This kitchen is by designer Natalia Makarova and it was pretty special!

Probably my second favorite room was by Bob Brown.  How about this fireplace surround! Hubba Hubba!

This room was so HOT!  Perfectly curated in my opinion.  Designer Whitney Ray can take a bow.

This dining room by Mrs. Howard was amazing and this picture does not do it justice.  You might have seen the shot I posted on Intagram.

Loved the gold curtain in the entry!

Melanie Turner always brings her A game!

The talented Jason Arnold also did an amazing job....I love the shape of this bed!

Ashley Malone and Stephanie Abernathy created this laundry room....I love the tile!

The upstairs laundry room by Chris Holt....

Here is a little tidbit of info....I never made it downstairs!  What?????

No worries as I am going back!

Melanie did all the outdoor spaces as her husband was also the builder of the house.

They were amazing!

Alrighty amongst yourself and decide your favorite because I must walk Cami.  I have an install today that I have been shopping for the last three days!

Also I need to wash my is disgusting...ewwww.
