THIS AND THAT

Thanks for all of your encouragement for the One Room Challenge!  I am all over the place right now with projects and I'm headed off to Highpoint Furniture market tomorrow.

Cause I got nothing to do....cue wicked laugh.

One thing that has to get done before I leave [which means today] is somehow get all these boxes over to my sisters house.

It's out of control......what promises will I have to make to the husband to get his help.....ahem.

Anyway....while I had to go to the mall to source at Pottery Barn I was multi-tasking looking at comfortable shoes to wear while walking around Highpoint.

These Puma's caught my eye....

And I love these Frye....

These P448 were awesome but when did sneaker prices rise up to 200.00?  I mean it's not like they have "red bottoms" right?

Then I headed over to Crate and Barrel to look for a few things and saw these 2 throws!

Lord you know I am all over texture!

And this cute Smeg coffee maker....

Also did you know Anne Selke has a new collaboration with The Tile Shop?

Are we out of the white subway era?

And check out this new wallpaper book from Thibaut!

Last weekend I went up to builder Michael Ladisic's and his wife's second home to help place 30 pieces of outdoor furniture.  Yeah..... that was crazy since when we ordered it all at the mart....neither one of remembered what we bought!

Below...is where we started a few years ago....

And today!

Nothing like some dark paint and iron doors to spruce up a place!

It's getting there!

I wish I had more for you.....I owe you better than this....I know.  And I promise to get back to more stimulating content soon.....at least I have something to blog about every Wednesday:)

Have a great weekend....

Are you kidding? You could post what you had for breakfast and I’d find it interesting and humorous! It is a dream of mine to go to High Point, maybe I could find someone who needs an assistant to carry their bags and rub their feet at the end of the day. Love those comfy shoes but I agree about the sneaker prices. White subway tile out? Never...I hope! Beautiful throws and wallpaper too!

Sherry, I love your blog and all you do! Never boring ever. So much inspiration here. Those sneakers are so cute and I especially love the snake print. These Annie Selke tiles are gorgeous! Looks like grasscloth. I wish I could have chosen them for one of my baths! I am digging the tropical wallpaper too. I still have to do some wallpaper in my entry and wow there is now so much to chose from. Right now I just chose a flooring- Argyle, from Walker Zanger for my mud room/laundry/pool bath and trying to decide if I should put stacked pool blue tile behind a small sink to the outside- or wallpaper and if they will go together. I wish you lived closer. I could pay for a consultation! I cannot wait to hear about High Point. I loved your past few blogs and the Morocco trip. You amaze me with all your energy and what you are up to! Have a great weekend! Kim

Hi Sherry:
Can you give me the source for the outdoor light fixtures on the patio? Love them.
And love your post.
Thanks,
Susie
