DESIGN PLAN PART 2

Allrighty then….on the last post I showed you the dining area of a new project.

Today we are hitting the living area.

Have to keep it short and sweet because there is shopping to do at Scott's today:)

Here is the space as it is now…..a beautiful new construction.

There is not enough seating for this young family.

Here is the plan….

We are actually doing 2 sofa's.  One regular size and one apartment size in an L shaped.  That means only one wing chair which will be a swivel/rocker.

The console will go behind the larger sofa as there is good space for it.  Still playing with navy [from the dining area] but now adding in more of the aqua blue and touch of coral.

Quick review….here are the fabrics for the dining area.

And what I've chosen for the family room.

I would like to do a navy sofa, the apartment sofa in the top fabric and the wing chair in the herringbone.

Then "pillow up" that whole room!
I love that the stripe has a touch of the coral in it.

Over the mantel I chose another of Linda Donahue's gorgeous art.

It's no secret I love her work.  #obsessed

So there we have it.  It is always interesting to see the inspiration and how it actually turns out right?

In other news I was at Scott's yesterday and scored these for a client.

Oh mommie I want for me.

And for the same client I have been looking for pretty plates to go over the sofa.

Look at these I found at Pier One!

So pretty huh?

I am feeling so blessed this year with wonderful trusting clients:)  It makes my job so much easier.

It is a Christmas party weekend for Sherika.
One of those dang cookie parties….and you know what that means.

Yup.  I might have to use my stove or oven.  I think I used it last year for the same party to make these bad boys.

Easy Button.

You can't really mess them up.  The hardest part is unwrapping all of the Rolo's and not popping too many in my mouth:)

We are down to 11 days.

I'd give my right arm for a navy sofa, but my four-legged friends prevent my dream from coming a reality. :( Your design is beautiful, Sherry!
