CHRISTMAS 2013 PART 3

Or "how many posts can you get out of $20.00 worth of greenery and Christmas balls".

Apparently I can stretch it into 3.

After 4 years of blogging I've learned a thing or two.  Our attention span has lessened and we can only process so much.

So with that said…. here is these rest of my Christmas decoration around the house.

I was at HomeGoods and spied a larger version of my  black and white tray.  Skipped out of the store that day right?

Can I just stuff ONE MORE thing with greenery?

I totally rocked this area with 2 wrapped boxes.  I'm on a roll now.  Go girl

I never use my dining room….a better idea would to make it a big old laundry room cause I seem to use that space more than I want.

I changed out my pillows to all white…....Cause why not?  I seem to have enough extra to fill up a Pod.  You know what they say….if pillows were dollars…...

A couple of small boxwoods stuffed in this container which hopefully I will plant after the holidays….. I mean right?

I better.

Ok I ran out of moss which I needed to stuff in the orchid so I used raffia.

Cause what can't you do with that stuff?

I knew 2 years ago when I found those white candlesticks at Ikea for $1.00 each they would come in handy….Ha!

The End.

Promise.

Merry Christmas to everyone of you and a huge thanks for reading my blog this year.

Gorgeous! Agree, we rarely use our dining room too. I have threatened to knock the wall between it and our kitchen down because everyone is ALWAYS in the kitchen.
Have a very Merry Christmas!!

Hi Sherry! I've been reading your blog for a while but since I don't have a blog of my own I felt like a weirdo commenting...now I'll feel like a weirdo if I don't comment to say Merry Christmas and I do enjoy reading!! Your house, your style, and your humor I really admire! Okay maybe I am a weirdo but not a creepy one :)

Hello meen, I've been following your blog for almost 6 months now without leaving any comment so I decided to quickly say hi today, just so you know you've got a fan somewhere. LOL. Your blog makes sense to me just like http://danieluyi.com, another similarly interesting blog that I'm also a fan of.

Keep it up.

Your dining room is beautiful… you better start using it… or at least fold your laundry in there!

Merry Christmas, Sherry! :)

Please, please tell me where I can find the sea glass beaded chain you have in the bread bowl. Can't find this anywhere and I have a cherub that really wants one!

Yes, I fear the Internet is indeed destroying our brains...thanks for not over-taxing our shortened attention spans today. In the last of the Christmas frenzy I am afraid I am going to forget to wrap something, or alternatively, wrap the dog instead of giving him a bath.

Like Leigh Ann above, I don't have a blog but hope it's not some horrible faux pas to comment occasionally.
Your posts are just such fun...thanks for the gifts of humor and beauty, my two favorite things. Merry merry!

I love your style, Sherry. Each time I visit your blog I am inspired to make a few changes to my own. Your decor reminds me a lot of my mom's taste. She passed away and I always get a little teary thinking about how much she would have enjoyed reading your blog. Thank you for sharing with us. You have no idea how much your humor and gorgeous home brighten my day!! Merry Christmas, dear!

Love it all. I, too, am partial to "less is more". I subscribe to the theory that for the less is more style to be successful one must have good taste as well as an eye for detail. Clearly you have mastered effortless looking
design with total panache. I realize the results here were
not probably effortless but they are definitely lovely. Merry!
Merry!

Can I get an 'AMEN' to the dining room/laundry comment?? Everything looks just perfect - only a talented lady such as yourself can rock the IKEA candlestick. Just so you know - I got a warm feeling all over just because you put greenery and an ornament in one white vase and left the other empty - YES YES YES….and adding
the ornament's hanging thingy? EXACTLY. God I love your blog.

Sherry, you're so creative! Next year please come to Dallas and Christmas up my house for us. I suppose I shall say that I went for a minimal look this year. The truth is I ran out of time! Also, we don't use our dining room either. I'm considering turning it into an office.

So beautiful Sherry and it just amazes me how you can make everything so beautiful. Loving all of the trays and your special touches. I could share that pod with you on those pillows! I have about 40 myself. We need to have a pillow swap!

I hope you had a Merry Christmas sweet friend and I am so happy too that we met in Atlanta and have gotten to know each other through blogging. You just make me smile, giggle and drool every time I see what you're up too! Cheers and Happy New Year!!

lovely. If I lived in Atlanta I would hire a babysitter just to come drink wine in your house. No lie.

Oh Wow! I love the beautiful blues and fresh greens with your neutral colors! It looks gorgeous! The blue balls on the dining room table look amazing. And... about all the fresh greenery, you're the one who taught me how much it can add to a room. I stole an armload of magnolia leaves and they're everywhere in my house! Just because of you!
