How I got to this finish line is almost a miracle. I mean not one like Moses parting the red sea or anything but still a tough one around these parts:)
All my clients hate me right now.....I'm pretty sure I gained 10 lbs by the way my jeans are fitting....my house is a mess and there is no food in my fridge.
Things are pretty bleak around here.
Do I wish I had one more week....#hellyeah.
All complaining aside these are exciting times....today you will see the reveals of 20 designers and bloggers who have had 6 weeks to finish up one project.
I am going to keep my comments brief showing before and afters so you don't have to go back and forth! Friday I will give you all the details!

My sister is thrilled with her new space and the fact that there were so many sponsors [thanks to Linda for all of her hard work on that end....I owe you girl!] really helped to pull this off.
I also have to thank my sister Maggie [the Bunny] for all of her help:) It was definitely a family affair!
Sudi.....you worked miracles with what I gave you for curtains....love you girl.

Hello Celerie....you'll need to append your Black & White book for this fantastic space!!!! Sherry it's beautiful!!!!! Every single inch is gorgeous.
Sherry,
It's just stunning and so peaceful. You knocked this one out of the park.
I can't get over the white floors, light walls and that amazing urbane bronze on the built ins. It doesn't even look like the same space.
All the new furniture and accessories just mix beautifully.
Now, go get yourself a pedicure (compliments of your sis) and sit back to enjoy all that you've created.
Seriously, to outdo yourself every ORC. How is that possible??
I'm saving my pennies, so I can hire you one day. That is, hoping you'd come OOP for me.

Sherry, can you be my sister? You are always spot on, the room must be a dream come true for your sister. Love it all. Congrats, you are one amazing designer.
You have seriously BLOWN MY MIND WITH THIS!!!!! Holy shizzle...I don't even know where to start. I guess the most important thing to note is that you have completely and totally transformed this space...like every square inch of it. This is massive!!!! Wow. Ok...composing myslef. My favourite, favourite, favourite part is the round table nook with the half black walls- I'm seriously obsessed with that vignette and am so inspired by it. Adore the mix of the wood with the check table cloth and the pillows on the wood chair- gah...it's just so ridiculously perfect. I love how you've managed to completely change the feel of the entire space. Now it seems so modern urban Scandanavian farmhouse and I LOVE that. You've just really done something amazing here Sherry...so so sooooooooo good!
Sherry, This is FABULOUS!!!!! What a great job. The space is so beautiful and much more functional. Congratulations!
Ivy

Wonderful transformation!
Can I move in with your sister? Love it! You've done it again! Can't wait for all the details Friday. What are you doing with the old stools....love the new ones but love the back on the old ones.
Holy mother. Your sister is one lucky woman! The space is absolutely incredible!!! I always look forward to your rooms on these ORC's. When you run out of family members to do makeovers on you can get ahold of me ;)
Bravo! Love the space. It's so cozy and inviting. Great job!
I knew this would be brilliant and it is! I love the breakfast/reading nook with the gingham table cloth and paint treatment on the walls. And your styling is on point as per usual. What a transformation. Your sister must be thrilled!
Beautiful!!! I love the neutral palette - it's so timeless and classic. Phenomenal. I'm with you on the house being a wreck and no food in the fridge - eating out again tonight I'm afraid... Love this challenge, but boy, it kills me!
What a transformation! Bravo!
Great job! I love the cafe curtains.
Sherry - you went above and beyond! It is an incredible transformation - beautiful! Your sister is so lucky. I bet she's keeping her fingers crossed, hoping you'll do the rest of her house for the next ORC!

Oh my word girl this is flipping GORGEOUS!! It's like 5 or 6 challenges in ONE!!! You pulled everything together beautifully and I am SO inspired by your work!
It's all so beautiful! Well done! I can't get over all that you accomplished. I love especially how you styled it all. The fabric used on the skirted table was the same fabric I used for my bridesmaids skirts! I saw it at an interior fabric store and bought it all! Love it. Wish I had some now for my own skirted table. Congrats and cheers to a job well done! xox, Emily
You rocked this one - I love every single detail. What a huge transformation. I wish you were MY sister!

Another ORC in the books and your knocked it out of the park as usual! This is one of those spaces I'm going to have to look at like 100 times because there are so many great elements!! It's absolutely great! You're always one of my favorites!!
What an amazing transformation! I love the classic black and white palette - so chic!

Hi Sherry -- It's beautiful! I wish I had a sister who would do this for me! I particularly love your pillows. What do you call that kind of trim? They look fabulous, and so well finished!

Jessie
Woah! THIS ROOM IS SPECTACULAR! Yep...that needed to be in all caps. Seriously, it's amazing. I want it all.
You are so talented....like 'C'mon, seriously?' talented. So many ideas I'd love to 'borrow'. You are ALWAYS the best when it comes to the ORC. Your spaces are more beautiful and - more importantly - still
LIVABLE than all the others. You make your spaces about your clients and not about you. Bravo. Again.
Barbara
Absolutely stunning in every way! Know you're exhausted by what a darn good job!
Love that you did this for your sister! Your blog is my favorite. I love what you do and you make me laugh! Great job!

This room looks fantastic. It is an amazing transformation.
Amazing transformation! So beautiful!
Gorgeous transformation! Your sister must be thrilled! I love all the beautiful details, the black, the neutrals...and that is the exact Karastan rug I have been eyeing up for my family room! So nice to see it in a beautiful space! I am so inspired by your talent!
Shelley
I am so impressed!!! You really took on a TON for this makeover and it turned out brilliantly. I love that it still feels really cozy and a bit rustic (like the original) but you've taken it in a way more modern direction. Kudos!
YOU ACCOMPLISHED SOOOOO MUCH!!! Hats off to your Sherry, you should be very proud. This looks fantastic, like a room you would want to entertain in. GREAT JOB!
Simply amazing and stunningly beautiful Sherry! What a chic yet comfortable and cozy space for your sister and her family to enjoy.

You're nothing short of a miracle worker, Sherry! I can't gush enough about what an amazing change this is and how fresh and modern your sister's home looks now. And the trim on the curtains--seriously. Gorgeous!
Sherry! I am dying over your room! I was able to see a sneak of it on Instagram this morning before I started painting. I just knew it would be amazing! I LOVE your use of black and white with several neutral tones. I'm such a fan. Congratulations!
dang, it's beautiful!
I feel like I'm looking at a totally different house. You kill it EVERY SINGLE TIME! Love the new look so much. You did an amazing job.
OMG this showcases just how truly fabulous you are at what you do. The transformation is absolutely nothing short of amazing. Your sister must be in seventh heaven. I am pinning this baby like crazy!!
FABULOUS!!! I see a reality show in your future! What a transformation!
First, can you adopt someone as a sister? Because I'd like to propose myself... Wowwwww!!! I love seeing how you re-used pieces and modernized what your sister already had. Not to mention the sheer gorgeousness of all the new things together. Now I'm off to read the followup post and learn more. (think about the sister-adoption thing) :)
As expected, another FABULOUS transformation Sherry!!!!!! Love every little detail in this space!
Sherry!!! This is amazing! OMG you put so much hard work into this. It looks so bright and beautiful! I love your color palette, fabric choices and new room set-up. My favorite corner is the one with the skirted round table! I would spend all my afternoons there playing board games. Beautiful job!! I can't believe you accomplished all this in 6 weeks!
xx
I love this makeover!! Probably one of my favorite so far. Do you mind if I ask where you got the planter that you have your fiddle leaf in? Great job to you guys for getting so much done in such a short amount of time, and that brush stroke lamp is to die for!

This is my favorite of all the challenges. You totally banished the 80s!!! I love the black and white, your use of the awkward layout, the freshness of it all. Well done!!
Home Depot!
Another ORC home run! What a vast improvement. My favorite corner is the skirted table sitch as well as the white wing back against the darkened bookshelves. I've said it before, and I will say it again, wish I was one of your sisters. They get all the goods!
Sherry:
You might have answered this, but I must have missed it...would you mind sharing the source for the living room chairs? Love them & the transformation!
Thanks! Cory

WOW Sherry,
It came out beautiful!! Thanks, Robin
Wow Sherry, what a transformation! I love the before and after comparison. You really made major impact with paint, that chandlier, and of course I love Jana Bek brush stroke lamp! I don't know how you were able to so much in 6 weeks? BAVO to a job well done my friend! XOXO, Sarah
Of course, I saw it bright and early on reveal day :) but I'm just now getting back to officially proclaim my awe at your incredible style!! Girl, you are the queen of neutral, textural, awesomeness and knock it out every! single! time! I couldn't love it more, BIG congrats!
OH MY GOSH! How do you do that!?? When i saw your facebook post mentioning it, i couldn't get over here fast enough. I love the way you "hid" the tv by painting the cabinets, the color is perfect, and what a great sofa! The little nook with the round table is perfect and the entry, omg... that mirror with the cabinet under it in the raw looking wood look like a million dollar makeover!
Cindy
What a huge transformation!
Such an gorgeous transformation. So many great textures and patterns, yet so soothing at the same time. I love your touch!! Lucky lucky sisters :)
I quickly zoomed through the "reveal rooms" when they were posted but I was still charging to the finish line (staying up all night) to finish my own ORC. I have now gone back and reallllly looked at your room in detail, studied it really, and it is just stunning from the white floors to all of the small details and everything between. I love it all, white floors, the deep color on the walls, fabrics, curtain trim, etc. It's amazing!!! And being an Atlanta area gal I'm hoping to try the restaurant as well!!
Marcie
gorgeous use of space, and i love how you stuck to your color palette in all the spaces. lovely job!
You have got some great posts in your blog. Keep up with the good work.

Such a nice and useful post. Thanks for sharing this..

The change is amazing! I’m most impressed by the vision where you painted some but not all of the wood kitchen cabinets. I love how the bit of brown looks so warm with the black and white and actually makes the wood look more modern. Same with the granite countertops. Anyone else would have said they had to go, no way to make them work. You not only kept them out of a landfill, kept to a budget and showed us how to make them fabulous again. Brava!!
