BEFORE AND AFTER

I am happy that Friday raced here this week.  It's a Scott's weekend so I know y'all will be getting your "shopping" on!

I finally shot the modern/rustic bathroom yesterday!  I love when clients want something special and these guys took it there.....

Let's take a look....

How about some before shots.  These are scary so beware.  If you have ever renovated before you know that the last month before they come in with sledgehammers you just kind of give up on the space:)

Here is the same angle now!

The toilet got moved to a whole different area

Another before angle....

Hello...this is the 80's....can I have my tub back.

Close up of the pulls....

No door for the shower.

We had to take out the windows but added 2 skylights.

Here is the drain in the shower.  Cool huh!  The floor slants down.

OK...back to a before.  To the left of the tub was the vanity.

And then the shower.

The star of the room is this soaking tub.

I love the rustic mantel against the glass tile.

This beautiful photography was done by their neighbor.

Some great hooks from Etsy.

So you are thinking....where is the toilet.  Well it got moved right outside in the bedroom...

Here are a few detail shots.

This is a close up of the Cambria countertop

We used the Kohler Claxton undermount sinks.

I love the texture of the floors...

Whew...picture overload I know.
Here are some of the sources...

I think maybe it's the best thing you've done! I feel a magazine feature coming on. The rustic wood is the total best ever.

What a beautiful space, but I'd love some clarification, please.

Does the room with the toilet have a sink too? The photos didn't make that clear to me.

I have to say that this is one of the absolute best bathroom remodels that I have ever seen - and I look at tons of them online (trying to get ideas...) This is amazing and I love everything about it !

Love, love, love all of it but the tub. Please don't hate. I'm not a tub gal so don't take it personally. Remove the tub and I would happily move in!

I love it, Sherry, all of it. Linear drains are so sleek and not used enough, in my opinion. I have never seen a soaking tub like this one. Fabulous. The mix of rustic and modern makes the room truly special. Congratulations for your talent and vision. The owners must be thrilled.

Stunning!!!! Love that soaker! What is the small shelf under the 2 larger ones in the shower for? The only thing I could think of was a spot to put my leg for shaving! The inset tile for the shelves is a great touch. Well done!

Girl, you've got it going on!! You did a fantastic job. I don't know what I love more, the rusticity, the shiny mixed with the texture, the idea of a soaking tub or the fabulous floor tile. I love all of it!

That is an amazing transformation. Jaw dropping. So many wonderful details. I dont think I've ever seen the rounded corners on a frameless shower. Who did those, if you dont mind?

This is SPECTACULAR, Sherry!!!!! I loved it when you've put up some peek shots, but all together it is so....handsome, chic, sophisticated, relaxed, utterly unlike the neighbor's house. Truly, truly, lovely.

Love the shower. I am re-doing mine right now and am doing something very similar. It's a little difficult to tell from the pictures, but what color grout did you go with on the shower wall and subway tile?

Thanks!
