BEFORE AND AFTER

Hello???  Anyone there?  I know….kind of fell off the wagon.

I had a routine in Florida of doing…….well nothing :)  It was colder this year than normal and a little rainy on a few days.

We ended up getting hooked on a TV series that someone had recommended to me….The Killing.

So much so that after season one [I had bought the DVD] we found it on Netflix and had to finish watching seasons 2 & 3.  Olympic binge watching….[Yes you read that right…36 episodes].  I then found out it was cancelled [oh crap] but Netflix saved the day by picking it up and ordered 6 more episodes.

I kind of fell in love with Joel Kinnaman who plays Steven Holder.  Hot dude.

Anyway enough about my boring life and on to what is really important…..world peace.

And design.

You guys have been with me on this project and have see updates along the way.

I had some professional shots by Jennifer Kessler taken to showcase the room much better than my crappy attempt.

Here is a before shot

Super large room with many windows.

This is the main room of the house where the family watches TV so we needed a lot of seating.

2 sofas facing each other and 2 swivel/rocker wing chairs that are so dang comfortable!  All by Lee Industries.

I had fun searching for vintage nautical prints.

This turned out to be one of my favorite areas.

Next up will be the Keeping area, Dining and Foyer.

Busy week for Sherika….I am about to answer 8 million emails so if you are one of my clients reading this….I'm on it.

Have a smoking week…..fo realz

Love it all--duh! :) It's all so very Sherry. The art is beautiful, and I'm going to find a place for some shutters.

After I get through Scandal and Revenge, I'll have to check out your show.

Once again you have nailed it- big surprise! I just started Netflix and love it! It is probably not good for my to-do list but very addicting!

Beautiful! I too love the paint color....what is it? Been wanting some swivel chairs so I'll have to check these out.
A friend told me about The Killing. I finished up with everything else, Breaking Bad, Scandal, Homeland, House of Cards etc. I did Olympic binge watching for most of those last spring to get up to date and now they're over but Downton Abbey started last night :)

Every time you show a reveal I want to throw everything I have in the trash and start over. Every. Single. Time. Just stunning, but we'd expect nothing less from you. Love absolutely everything. Can't wait to see the rest of your magic in other parts of this lovely home.

Love Lee they are such a good company. Love the placement of the shutters and putting the table in front of the window seat is such a great idea. Don't you find that people do not use them unless you do. They look great but are virtually worthless unless you put a table in front of them!!

For the love of bacon, what is this paint color?! ;D This is so exactly the look I want for our new family room ... it's like I had it in my head and bam, there it is! My best guess is Sea Salt (which I think is SW, but could possibly be BM).
