Before and after

Had such a great time celebrating my birthday in New York! A lot of walking and window shopping!

I wanted to share a good resource and makeover with you. Here is the before and after of a coffee table that we bought at a Hotel Liquidation Store for a client. Her budget was very small, but I love the challenge of thinking outside the box. This table had great lines but it was black iron. We went to Michaels and bought this product call Rub 'n Buff. I think the color we used was antique silver. We started rubbing it on and it looked a little too silver, so we took some steel wool after it and took the shine down a little. I think it turned out great after we added a few accessories.
