RIVERMONT DENTAL REVEAL

There is an upside to not blogging regularly and that is I have a backlog of content for you:)

Meaning.....I have another reveal...before and after for you today!  This was actually a commercial project that I completed before Christmas and I have to tell you that it was a labor of love!  I had a huge gallery wall to put together and Rose and I shopped relentlessly for the art.

I can tell you that it was very hard to part with most of it and that many of the pieces I found "as is" meaning I did not re-frame.  I did change out a few mats here and there.

Here is where we started....that huge wall is the first thing you see when entering the office.

Here is what it looked like the day of the install....a very rainy day [and I had to carry in all these bins of art which was NOT FUN].

The counter tops had not been installed and the trim was still missing.  But the installer was booked so we had to carry on!

Check out the floors from Mill and Woods.  The herringbone is amazing!

Here we are trying to decide the gallery wall...it ain't easy folks!  I gotta tell ya:)

But after a few auditions I think we nailed it and he started hanging.....

This is a dental office and she added shelves in them so you would have something pretty to look at while they torture you...just kidding...not...

Here are some detail shots...

The reception.....countertop!

The beautiful trim....

The floors....

The Currey and Co chandelier....

The coffee station....

The bathroom......

Arteriors pendant.....

Before the curtains were installed!

After......

She gave me full control over the art and that was so freeing.....I also think that you can do a better job when clients do that!

Dr. Shima Shahrokhi is amazing and we had so much fun collaborating on this project....she had a very clear vision!

Hope you guys are having a good Sunday....it's cold as heck here in Atlanta today,

In other news...Cami is having a little nappy...

And I scored this vintage Bill Blass....made in Italy...cashmere coat at a thrift event for $15.00

Hot Damn people!

Most beautiful office I have ever seen! Love love your blog. For some reason I am not able to subscribe to your blog. I get a strange Google error. Not stopping me from reading your posts!

So gorgeous! Really a wonderful job!
And I’m still stuck with the metal clown art in my dentist office.

Up until the end I thought this office I was in a sky rise in downtown Atlanta. Then I saw outside, a strip mall. And am in awe… again.

Hi, even though I used to get your blogposts, your system doesn't send them to me any longer. I just go to your website and see if anything new is posted. Is this happening to all your subscribers?

Also, I always love your work. The only comment I can add this time is that the black rug may have to be removed - one patient's trip and fall and consequent lawsuit is not worth the beauty.

Thank you for posting and sharing!!!!

Well, my dentist (who I love) just remodeled their office...with bated breath, I waited to see the new icing on the cake....they reused the old furniture which is equivalent to curbed furniture for heavy trash pick up day.
BUT THIS ON THE OTHER HAND.....Bravo!
