If this isn't out of the norm lately for me...then I don't know what is.....
2 post in a week......but I have to say that it has been very relaxing up here. I even read a book which is unusual because when I am home.....sometimes I feel like I have way too much to do than read a book....my mind races and I get anxious!
I thought I would give you some more pictures of the Southeastern Showhouse while I was thinking about it!
Starting with this pretty foyer by Kristan Moore
This gorgeous Anna French fabric and the rug....was an outstanding choice!
She said that she had the vintage chest painted and it was a perfect addition to the space!
Beautiful bedding.
Really loved this art by Andrea Costa....she is one of my favorites!
Today is my last day in Nantucket....how darn fast a week goes when you are on vacation! I am missing Cami though so it's time to return to Atlanta and work.
Here is the book.....it was really good.....easy read and
unexpected ending....the best kind right!
We did some walking on the beach....they have 2 dogs so at least I got some dog love while I was here:)
Yesterday we went for a 13 mile bike ride....it felt like a 100 miles with the headwinds coming back! I think it's a good idea to have the headwinds first right??
So vacation over.....

Yes! Two posts in a week! You go girl. Thank you for sharing the beautiful Southeastern Showhouse, sure is fun to see how the other half lives. Loved that wallpaper in the living room and of course the blue bedroom. All vacations do come to an end and it looked like yours was wonderful, especially strolling on that beach. Thanks for the book recommendation, I’m always looking for my next book to read. Safe travels home to Cami.
Couldn’t help but think of you and your tick adventure as I wait for my tick test results. I had been gardening all day and I found him on me in the shower. Not feeling I’ll, so that’s good, but totally creeped out.

Thank you so much for sharing these stunning rooms. Here's what caught my eye:
- I liked the use of a semi circle pouf under the console in the foyer. Nice change from the predictable use of 2 squares or a rectangle.
- The Schumacher wallpaper blew me away. Those little tiger stripe? pillows on either side of the hutch balance out the heavy wood.
- Those petal bathroom sconces are amazing.
- Yes on the neutral tones tile in the bathroom!
- I absolutely loved how Kim Regas hung the double mirrors over the chest in the bedroom by using knobs and chains from the TOP of the wall. It looks intentional and makes great use of what would be a complete dead white space.
- Thanks for introducing us to Andrea Costa...her work is dreamy.
Looks like a beautiful spot to vacation...often!
Glad you had a good time, thanks for the post!
It's always a treat to get a blog post from you so this was a double treat.
Verity sounds like a psychological thriller which I love to read. Thanks for the suggestion as I've already ordered it.
