THIS AND THAT

I have spent about 15 solid hours getting ready for this Designer Tag Sale.  Pulling stuff from the attic, basement, under beds and every other hiding place.  We are talking 20 years of Scott's.....flea markets and redecorating.

I am so over it and vow from this day forward to stop this madness.  I mean it.  I am counting on y'all to hold me to this.

I have more of the same in my basement.

What seems to be at the top of the hoarding list is of course fabric and then art.  Some fabrics I could not part with.....what is wrong with me?

I am hoping that on Monday when we break down there is nothing left and I can finish paying for my landscaping..... hey a girl can dream:)

In other news....I am in love with this Designers Guild Wallpaper....

I wanted to ask a few of you who said that they are not receiving my post any more if maybe they are now?  We are trying to fix this problem which others seem to be having.....I know because there are some I am not receiving either!

And to top off this post today head over to Little Black Door .  Elizabeth was one of my ORC partners and she is talented and funny.  She invited me to participate in her "fess up friday" so I am spilling my guts.

Would love to shop your sale! We had a yard sale last weekend and it felt so good to purge. The added bonus is you can actually walk through our garage now. Have a great weekend Sherry!

I wish I could have unloaded my stuff at this sale. I would need a large U-Haul to take mine.

I'm an addict - scanning your piles of stuff for things I want! I's sure you will sell out.

I can only imagine the treasures you unearthed from 20 years of designing…..oh my!

Yes, I have started receiving your posts again, so glad! I feel your pain on the purging. We recently moved from VA to Fl and spent months selling, giving away and tossing. I will NEVER collect that much stuff ever again! Best, Beth C.

Wish I was close enough to shop your sale, I'm sure you have a ton of stuff I don't need! Good luck, fingers crossed that you sell everything! We had a cul de sac sale a few months ago and I sold a lot of stuff that gave me funds to buy more stuff...I need therapy...
I am still not receiving your blog via email..should I re-subscribe?

lordy, I think I love your stuff. My mom hordes fabric, too. I have always wanted to get her the bumper sticker that says. "she who dies with the most fabric WINS!"

haha

Good luck with your sale! Feels so good to purge- hope it all goes, for your sake. Then it's another matter altogether for what to do with the stuff that doesn't sell. Love that wallpaper. xo Nancy

Hoping to get by, but we are taking baby girl to the airport mid day...you know how that can go! Here's hoping it is a great success.

It's very freeing getting rid of all the crap. You should see the workers' eyes when I pull up to the local donation center. I'm over garage sales, tag sales, etc. I prefer to think about budding decorators or young moms who just want their place to look a little nicer at a fraction of the cost. They hang out at Goodwill just hoping someone like me will show up with some treasure. They are never disappointed. And I couldn't feel better about clearing the clutter from my life.

I'm the same way and always swear I'll do better and not buy one more thing. Until I see the perfect thing. I am SO sad I can't be at your sale. I know you girls are going to have some amazing stuff!!

What luscious goodies, but -- oh my -- a few too many goodies. I wish you luck at the tag sale. Here's hoping you sell all of it (except, of course, for the stuff you didn't want to give up in the first place). Be strong.
XO, Victoria

Um... your hoarding stuff is incredible. I'm heading over now to check out your Fess Up. I just did one for Elizabeth a couple of weeks ago. I told her it was like therapy :D
