SCOTT'S PART 2

Like I said.....there was just too much goodness this month for one post.

Remember there are 2 huge buildings the size of Costco with an outdoor area also!  I get a couple of comments every month saying "where is this Scott's place?".......So again Scott's Antique Market is located in Jonesboro, Georgia.  It has been there for 25 years and is always the 2nd weekend of the month.

Get there....or just make yourself sick with these pictures.  Just saying.

Need some garden seats?

Would like to have this......

Need some plexi?

Or a retro gold bar?

How about these cool tables?

More awesome pillows....

If you don't like blue and white ticking then we can't be friends :)

I talked my friend Jan into buying these for her den.....cause she doesn't have enough pillows.  #caughtmypillowaddiction
Textiles....these colors are slaying me.

Need a horse....

Or a dog?

Perfect for a bathroom....towels...you could style this sucker up a storm.

Tan leather is killing me lately.  Forget the fact that this is the coolest piece of furniture right?

I need some DIY skills to I can whip this up.

I have seen these around the DIY blogs but for 75.00....not a bad deal right?

And something else to put in a dough bowl...

I don't know about you but I love a large architectural piece on a wall.  It really makes a statement.  There's a design tip for ya...:)

For toys in a kids room.

Just cause old signs turn me on.

And the colors in this rug.....well nuff said.

Big ass yellow lamps.

Yes...they have jewelry also.

OK.....this is where I almost faltered and got out the checkbook.  Can you blame me?  My favorite color, old, doors, tall....I mean crikey.  Why does life have to be so hard.

So I did the next best thing....talked Jan into buying this for her porch.  I mean you NEED a piece of an old truck in your home right?

Why hello cute little chairs.

Are you feeling my pain....should I not go?  Nah.....it builds character......yeah cause I need more of that I guess.

Got a little bedroom install tomorrow.....gonna be fun!

I saw the sun yesterday.....without rain.  Think we can go for 2 days in a row......weather Gods?

I have never hated my hair more.

I've heard about this place from several people - I found your blog while searching for photos of the place just in case it was sketchy (haha). But this place looks like antique shopping heaven! Next month I'm totally there! Thanks for sharing pictures :) You have a new reader!

I AM sick just looking at the pictures! I'd probably go broke if I lived close enough to go.

I live all the way up in NYC—where absolutely everything is WAY overpriced. I will pay someone to get me the contact info for the vendor selling the fabulous blue-fabric screen BEHIND the horse. Seriously.

LOL about your hair. Mine keeps getting bigger and bigger in this humidity. It's about to pour here in Decatur, so we didn't make it 2 days without rain. Love the blue doors and the old industrial fan blades.

$200 for the Ford tailgate, and you PASSED on the doors?! I do have a glimmer of understanding the restraint game your playing....

"Anonymous from NYC" will have to step out of the anon closet to get help with that wonderful screen. Great spotting! All I saw was the horse. :-)

I think it would be worth a trip to Georgia just to go to Scott's!! Love large architectural pieces and that was a great looking piece. You are much stronger than me. I don't know if I could have passed up some of those pieces. Always fun shopping vicariously with YOU,
Happy Thursday,
Kathysue

I just realized I am passing through ATL the second weekend of August with the fam to catch a plane back to Berkeley. It's fate! Of course if I go to Scott's I will just have to be like you and torture myself since I don't think any of the things you posted about will fit on the plane. Well, maybe the pillow covers...

Great pics, thanks for sharing! That Ford tailgate is cool... that would look great with some legs welded to the other side so it could be made into a table.
