NEW PROJECT

SUNDAY....

What a gorgeous day here in Atlanta.....warm temps.....but here comes the pollen.

That yellow stuff that gets in your nose, down your throat and all over everything!

Thanks for all of the great comments on my project last week.  He really loved it and was very appreciative.  It made me feel good that I had the time to knock that one out.

But.....this is another week and that means another project to finish.

I admit that I have been working on this one for a while....but tomorrow is furniture and accessories!

These are the fabrics I am working with.  See..... I can do something besides neutral:)  I mean look....I am using red for Pete's sake!

The curtains have already been installed.
These have been recovered and are being delivered....

2 of these were painted black.  Keeping the seat's like this.

Ha Ha.......Just kidding.
Wallpaper was installed in the foyer...and paint was added to the back of bookshelves.

New light fixture went up....

A few flea market trips....to collect books and such.

Gonna be a long day with 4 bookshelves to style.....that's gonna take some time and brain power.

MONDAY MORNING....

OK....I'm up and getting ready to load the car and run get flowers.
Stay tuned for updates on Instagram [sherryhdesigns] on how this one is going.....

I'm so looking forward to getting all of this out of my living room!

I can't wait to see it all done, Sherry. Love that you decided to keep the 1980's fabric seat cover on the chair after you painted it black..(snicker)...xo Diana

LOVE it all - and god for you including some red! I really like the wallpaper (and latern) in the front hall.

Where did you get that/what is it called? I live in Canada, but would love to track some down. I've been looking for the right colour of that wallpaper and I may have just found it!

Can't wait to see the reveal!

I really like seeing the pile ready for install - it's your creative vision all in one pile. I'm loving that plaid and ikat that's going on here and those drapes are beyond yummy.

What a lucky client!! I bought some drapes at Cost Plus a couple of years ago that was made out of the same fabric, Loved the texture, but they did not work in the room I thought they work in. Great price wonderful addition of texture for a room. When you said you were leaving the seat, I actually said out loud,REALLY? then I thought it is Sherry she will make it look fabulous no matter what!! Have a good install, it is so gratifying to see the happiness in your clients face when all done, isn't it?

Loving the curtains - and hooray from some red! You know I loves me some color. I think we should start an Instagram or Pinterest thread to show the state of our various homes as we hoard clients items pre-install days. It aint pretty.
