MORE SCOTT'S

OK...just a little more.  I am not trying to be mean....but this month was one for the record.

Raise your hand if you do not like big mirrors.  No one....I thought so.

Or big frames....

Just look at this crusty goodness.....
Crustiness is good on mirrors...not so good in a bellybutton...just sayin....

Miami condo circa 1970.  But I still want.

For crying out loud.

Moss and concrete go together like Donny and Marie.
I really wanted this.....blue...check.  crusty....check.  industrial metal....check.  No where to put.....bummer.

Just the hardware please.....
Are you ready for some color?

On a nice Belgium linen sofa....
On a nice Belgium linen sofa.....yeah.....pretty much everything looks good on one.

Got some old lace...put it on a pillow.
Very "Rachel Ashwell" but I likey.  I think it is the BLUE.  I'm cursed.

Paint some stripes.

 A gazillion green chairs.

Need a big yellow pepper?  Who buys this stuff????

And I finally met Kendall Boggs.  She is so nice and I love her art. In fact she is having a giveaway on her blog right now....so run on.

Your kidding right?  55.00 each.

Yes....Scott's was great.  But did I find a coffee table for my porch project?  Uh that would be a big fat NO.  So I am out today and must find one.

I went to Miami Circle [a design area with ton's of stores] yesterday.  I searched.  Nothing....but do have some great pictures to show you.  Silver lining.

Sha Ray baby....

* no news on my Patches yet but hopefully the end of the week.  "For the love of God...." as one of my friends put it.

take me with you to this southern wonderland, sherry! i am sold. i'm serious. i have not had the itch to do the flea market thing lately. frames and mirrors. they're like crack.

question about my giant dough bowl: it still smells musty after a thorough cleaning, soaping, dehumidifying, and basking in the sun. think there's any hope?

love kendall's art!

Ok your mission should you decide to accept it....go back and get that crusty frame and that Italian mirror now!!!! Me wants!

Why does it always take so long to figure out what's wrong with pets or humans. I guess that's why they call it PRACTICING medicine!

This is some crazy goodness! What, so you didn't have a place for that piece...that never stops me. Just check my garage, and don't tell my husband.

I am drooling over everything, except for the pepper!

You didn't get the name of the vendor with the intaglios did you? I'm sure they are gone at that price though! They would look great in my foyer!

I'm so jealous that you are so close to such an amazing store! I saw a patio set painted medium-hot pink and it was amazing so I am right there with you about the blue set! Yum!

Love the big mirrors, love the frames, I even love Donnie and Marie -- not the real ones, the concrete and moss. I am so jealous you live so close to this great flea market. The ones near me only sell tube socks.
I am sending positive thoughts your way for Patches and for a good week.
Best...Victoria

Gosh, girlie, you SO
make me smile and
chuckle! I am finding
more and more that
I go to fleas and love
things, yet leave empty
handed. Trying to live
more lightly? Or just
realizing that I can love
it and still pass it by?
Not certain, but I sure
enjoy a virtual stroll
with you : ) Hope that
sweet Patches get the
diagnosis, soon, and that
all is WELL!

I have a big mirror similar to those shown that I bought on Craigslist. It is incredibly beautiful, got it for a steal, and now I don't have a clue where to put it. I need decorating therapy.
