More Scott's and a big mess up...

I had big plans for posting yesterday.  Oh yes I did.  I had the curtain install at the bank and everything was going my way as they say when I got a phone call that sent me into a spiral.  Ok...it wasn't earth shattering but it messed with my day big time.

I know you have heard me talk about our  home near the beach.  {Rosemary Beach near the Panhandle].  Before you start thinking I am a gazillionaire cause I own a beach home...let me just say that I don't own it...the bank does and they LET us make payments on it every month!!!!  Awesome huh???   Anyway...long story short.

It is a rental.  I DOUBLE booked it for the week of Thanksgiving.  You say:"How the heck did you do that Sherry?"  HELL if I know.......but that is beside the point.  Fixing it NOW is the agenda.  You say: "How are you going to do that Sherry?"  Beats the crap out of me but I will put on my weak ass "thinking cap" [it is old and does not work very well anymore] and start working on it like ants building a mound.

I'll keep you posted.

I realize that is not why you are here [I am sure you have your own problems] to hear me complain about my inability to manage my life!

Let us get on to Scott's part 2.

These beautiful ice buckets to go with those lovely bars I showed you!

I racked my brain on where to put this little number...since it was such a great deal.

Wouldn't this make a cute headboard...$50.00!

Crazy good retro hanging lamp.....

You crafty people...get going covering some old suitcases in burlap....

Yes...my fav color...I regret leaving this little bargain behind....

Another little crafty idea...glass candlesticks with jars glued on them......

I mighty pretty pillow.....

And 2 more great pillows.....

How about these...this was a new vendor and he had loads of good stuff!

See here....

These are cute pillows to me.

He sold these target practice sheets!  Just in case you need to practice shooting someone.
This is a strangely "light" pillow post.....there weren't many good ones left when I got there on Friday.

This one was right nice.....

****Update:  I managed to secure another unit and my renters were so nice about it!  Whew!  That will teach me to pay attention and slow down on the multitasking.....

Enjoy your weekend.....I am going to try to salvage mine....:)

Later

Sherika

Gosh Sherry, I used to manage our house for rentals and I know how crazy it can get. Glad I don't have that job anymore (we let the bank have their house back) lol.

Whew, Sherry. Glad that it all worked out for you. Can't imagine how stressful that would have been! Thanks for sharing the Scott's goodies. That red cubby thing would have come home with me...and that blue metal table...too cute. Enjoy your weekend.

Glad the rental thing worked out. I'd love the red metal cubby thing to hang in a kitchen and fill with coffee mugs. I've been looking for something like that since staying at this place in Fredericksburg TX

I love the ice buckets, Sherry, and agree about the flag headboard -- especially in a room at the beach. But the real reason I read your blog, besides the wonderful ideas you offer, is that you make me laugh out loud. It is a good thing I live alone.

Have a wonderful day, and I am happy for you-- and your renters -- that you resolved the double booking issue.
Best...Victoria

Good luck sorting things out....
