Starting another design plan...

Or...the second brown sectional!!!

First of all I want to say I am over at Capella's blog A Curated Lifestyle  today with 10 things I believe.....you are going to want to know them.....
AND...you need to check out her blog.  She is a very talented young designer here in Atlanta, who did an amazing room at the Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Christmas House last year.  Plus, she does a best of Atlanta craigslist for all of you bargain hunters out there.

Now onto the project.
Brown sectional.

Here are some of the plans I put together...
This is the first one I started with.  I am all over that Imperial Trellis in green lately.  I know I might be a little late to this party....but I don't care.

Then, I came up with this one because she told me that she really was not a green person.  She wanted more red.

I was pretty excited about it.  Love the Victoria Hagan lead fabric.
Then she said what part of "I'm not a green person" did you not understand?????  OK....OK....I get it!  She really did not say it like that :)

Brainstorm.....OK, I got it...red and blue!

Here was the first one.....

But we tweaked it....darkened the blue quilted fabric and took out the navy.
Ding Ding Ding....we have a winner!  Whew.
Luckily we got to keep the Kathryn Ireland lead fabric.  She loves it, I love it, life is good.

The light grasscloth wallpaper and some nice light scrim on the windows to ease the visual clutter.  Can't wait to get started.

A couple of questions answered from the last post.
Everything on this white tray is from Schumacher .

61 days until Christmas.  AYFKM?????  I am bypassing fall decor.  Straight to Christmas.  Ha Ha Ha....who am I kidding....I did my Christmas decor last year on Dec 22.

Last issue we have here is that I would love to answer all of your questions...really I would, but I need an email.  Don't make me feel guilty about this.  Just give me what I want.  Make sure that when you leave a comment I can reply to it.

That's all.  It is Monday.  All day.

Great choices! Can't wait to see how it turns out. Guess you'll just have to use the green imperial trellis in your own house. It's pretty fabulous!

I had a client once who said she didn't like green, but she changed her mind when she saw what I had in mind! I do love what you have come up with though!

Nice, Sherry! Love the big graphic red with the blue quilted; I don't blame you on the green, though-- I'm all over that trellis fabric. :)

I really really love the last project - it's gorgeous. And I'm a green person more than reds, so my preference was that first one. They are all great but I would have leaned green if I were your client. Rock it Sherry - I love seeing your visions come to life. I'm going to head over and check out your guest post.

Hi Sherry, I always love green, but the fabrics that you ended up with are wonderful too. Sounds like a nice project.

All the best, Cindy

LOVE all the fabrics and enjoyed seeing the 'process'. I liked the 2nd green too but really like what you ended up with. It will be gorgeous. ALSO ... loved your ten things - all really great advice... especially taking care of your teeth! I gave my kids two non-negotiables when they were little - floss your teeth and practice your piano. haha. You always make me smile ; D

I am still stuck on 61 days until Christmas....ugh!!!! Love it all, do love green but the red and blues are equally pleasing, and loving what you are doing. Great direction, she is surely in wonderful capable hands!
Cannot wait to see it all come together.

Loving all these groupings, Sherri!

I am working with a client right now who does not like anything with stripes or checks, nothing geometric, and no dotted patterns or plaids.
So limiting! OMG!

Florals and solids.... textural pieces and that is it!

Love your style.

Love that light seagrass wallpaper..will be such a nice texture...giving me an idea to copy :)
There is not a color I don't like...so it's hard for me to wrap my head around ...no green or no blue instructions...but I do...just like you did. great job.

Well, I am not crazy about eggplant (the color, not the vegetable)...I bet that or lavender will be the next color of the year though.

Love it all! I've never met a pile of Schumacher fabrics I didn't adore. I'm glad to know that even you have clients that ask for changes. xo

Reds are hard for me, but you have this thing figured out. I'm loving that green trellis too so you aren't alone.

I simply love the way you write.

And, I could live in that Schumacher tray, right after I'm done living in all the other rooms with those fabrics. I'll take all the green, too.
