SOUTHEASTERN DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE 2018

Everybody has their weakness when it comes to favorite foods.....Since I have been a little deprived lately [worth it though] I am making a statement right now......

When I get to my goal I am going to eat a bag of potato chips.  The whole bag.  Just saying.  Once.

To get it out of my system.

So now I have 2 goals.....haha.

As promised I have some pictures of the Southeastern Designer Showhouse sponsored by Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles

So many good moments....of course that is what showhouses are for right.....!

Let's start with the kitchen designed by my friend Matthew Quinn and the Design Galleria team.  It was definitely a stunner and made me realize that as far as kitchens are concerned I am living in the dark ages over at my crib:)

Word.

Fo instance this incredible sink in the butlers pantry.  Wowza.

The beautiful quartzite countertops with the antique pewter hardware looks great with the light wood cabinets on the island.

The only upper cabinets had these beautiful mullion doors.....and the perimeter countertops were a lighter quartzite that blended perfectly.
I see that the trend of no upper cabinets continues as the whole back wall was all windows [the range had a down draft vent].

The beautiful dining area [Melanie Millner] was so light and bright!

Loved this beautiful trim on the curtains.

And when you need a lemon....there you go!

Wallpaper on the ceiling.....with this gorgeous chandelier.

Right behind the kitchen was the keeping room....designed by Karen Fergurson.

Loaded with texture.....

AND....that fireplace surround shape!

Through the family room the traditional living room designed by Beth Webb

Gorgeous Schumacher wallpaper!

This room was stunning.....

The back hallway and garage entrance by Helen Davis Hanavich housed a pretty powder room with this Schumacher wallpaper that I have always loved.

The showhouse is open thru May 13th so you have a little time left to get there!  I'll finish up with more gorgeous shots on Tuesday.

I might be bias but I do believe that Atlanta can rock a showhouse.....!

Thoughts?  Favorite space so far?

TGIF y'all....

I love the Fireplace and Glass Screen.
Was the Fireplace concrete?
Do you know where we can get the Glass Screen?

Thank you so much for sharing the photos...my sister and I meet up in Atlanta annually to see the house, but due to another trip, it didn’t happen this year. Really hate missing the event.
