BOULDER FLIP

I was working on another post but thought I would give you a mini update of the next Boulder flip because I am leaving on Friday to go out and help stage....which I am very excited about because it might be one of my fav things to do!

If you remember I  went out there on Memorial Weekend and toured the place....so I can only rely on what pictures they send me during the process....:)

Let's start with the outside....

Changed out that bay window and a nice coat of paint with dark trim....

There were some walls moved on this one and when I get out there I can get some pictures to compare for you.

Love the Serena and Lily light fixture right in the foyer.....

The before of the LR right off the foyer....

After with a feature wall of Schumacher wallpaper!

Right around the corner is the kitchen....

Opposite....a place to wash the dogs:)

Right off the laundry room was a bedroom but will now be staged as an office [especially since there is not a full bath until the 3rd floor actually].

So I am excited to see it all in person!

Made it through the night without any bathroom breaks with Cami so there's that.

I still have this darn cold which does not make me happy.  My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic which I don't know why because it hasn't done shit.  It's going on 3 weeks......but with daytime cold medicine I can get through the day...haha

I'm nothing if not resilient.

MY DAY

Boy Oh Boy.....I never thought a fashion post on dresses would create this much controversy!

While I appreciate everybody's feelings about cheap clothes....sweat shops etc.....I was just trying to give a price range for everyone and of course I realize that in all likelihood most people who read my blog could be older.....I don't discriminate on age, sex or religion!

Just to be clear....I did show a few dresses that might need a wrap [which I'll often wear if I feel too exposed] AND I will also wear a bra when appropriate....although I do admit to being drawn to outfits that I can hide the fact that I loath bra's!

So I think we should all agree that the world is full of people who are a different size, age, rich and poor who can make their own choices everyday accordingly.

I also say we lighten up and get back to design capish?

Like I have been whining about for a month....things are pretty hectic around here for Sherika.

I've got 2 showhouses to produce [how does someone go from saying I will NEVER do a showhouse to getting involved in 2 at the same time] so making some quick decisions is imperative.

I might also add....I seem to be frozen right now when it comes to decision making.

My day on Monday was driving around trying to get my Pinewood Forest showhouse nailed down.

First place was Ikea where I have not visited in a while....

This bed must be new and it was adorb.

This fabric....

A new pillow....

Throw

Rug...

I picked up a few things....

While I was in the area I stopped into Serena and Lily

They definitely have a look and I love it....

So fresh and pretty....

Yes please to this bench!

And these baskets....

Started working my way back to Buckhead and stopped into one of my favorite shops....Antiques and Beyond and saw this piece of art that was pretty swell....

Then I headed to World Market which used to be right next to my grocery store but they had the nerve to move to another location.

This rug and pillows below are new!

And of course no day is complete without a stop into HomeGoods!

I was pretty tired when I came home:)

Shopping can do that to ya.

So one more thing about the fashion post....and the online store Shein.  I actually googled them to see if there were any reviews and found one here and here

There was definitely good and bad.....

Who is glad it's Friday.....can you see my hand waving wildly in the air:)

SHOPPING IN ATLANTA

Note to self.....don't take any jobs after October 1st.

Of course I say that every year as I am running around trying to satisfy all of my commitments....meanwhile my house has no Christmas decor and looks like one of those Korean missiles landed in my guest room which is full of fabrics and accessories for my installs!

I was all over the place yesterday looking for the perfect accessory for bookcases, bedding, pillows and just plain stuff!

After 9 stops I gave up and went home but I did manage to snag a few things.

First up.... I stopped off at Serena and Lily which just opened recently here in Atlanta.

I love seeing their fresh look up close and personal!

I just bought the coffee table above for a project and can't wait to put the room together after the first of the year.

They are heavily invested in Blue and green and I was loving it!
Didn't find anything there but did see a few things for future jobs!

Next up....it's no secret that I love Bungalow Classic.  I could go in there blind and pick things out for a room.

There is a new store in town which I was excited to check out....Hudson Grace

I am sucker for wooden bowls!

Of course this is where I gasped with all of this black and white goodness!

I headed back to Buckhead and stopped into Gramercy looking for bedding.

Scored there with this beautiful Matouk!

The perfect color!  Kind of exciting

I sent a picture to my client and heard nothing.  I then sent a text message to school her on the correct response..... and that would be to answer with emoji's jumping up and down in excitement.  It's a long day and I needed some validation:)

Next stop Web Marsteller where I can always score.

I love to put a beautiful bowl on the coffee table!

I had to go over to ADAC and order some fabric so I made a quick stop into Stark Carpet....and holy smackdown.....this rug made me weak in the knees!

My next stop was to Home Depot to look for some subway tile for the beach kitchen reno.  Y'all I REALLY messed up with the paint color down there.  Since I could not use BM paint....[it was going to be about 500.00] more I had to pick a SW color quickly.

I went with SW Pure White thinking "what the heck....if it says pure then it must be white".

Good Lord.  Mistake.  It looks so darn yellow I could cry.  I can barely talk about it but SINCE nobody answered my cry for help in my last post I was left hanging.

Um hello....remember me.....your buddy?
