PROJECT UPDATE BEFORE AND AFTER

Y'all....I'm not real prepared today!  Yesterday was my photoshoot for the One Room Challenge and I spent all week getting it finished and styled.

My car is full of things needing to be taken back to HG's, Marshalls, and Pier One.  Tool kit, crap from my house that I could't find for the shot....yadda yadda yadda....

My house is a complete mess!

But....I do have a few things to share with you from my most recent project that I am working on with Ladisic Fine Homes.

First up is this stair runner we had installed.  It's a performance material and looks incredible!

It's from Prestige Mills Carpet

Here is the very small powder room before....

I love the brick wall...this space had some good character.

Right before you enter there is a little foyer....

So....

Started by painting the walls SW Urbane Bronze and changing out the chandelier to this swanky Circa Lighting one!

We also painted the brick the same color and took out the pedestal sink to have a custom vanity made.

We then wallpapered with my favorite Schumacher Pyne Hollyhock pattern and had the vanity installed.

She had this larger mirror which we hung!

And viola.....now we are looking for maybe a small rug....

So....big changes to a small space!

OK....I hate to run but it's Sat and this girl has way too much to get done.  I know y'all understand:)

See you Wednesday for the big reveal!

BEFORE AND AFTER

Hello Friday.....so happy you could make it:)  I'm delighted to see you!

And that's no joke.

As promised I did have a one room installation yesterday so I managed to take a few trusty iPhone pictures.

I have been slowly putting the final layer on the rooms in this project which I've been working on for about a year and a half.  It takes time to curate that layered look......

I'll try to set it up for you......

This is kind of a dark and moody room....done in basically sepia tones.

Hmmmm......neutrals.  Back to my roots!

The Charles Stewart sofa [to the trade only] arrived which allowed us to finally hang the black and white photography that the client has taken on his travels.

I arrived early to start laying them out.... auditioning them for the best look.

This is a job that I will not tackle!  Too much math people!

The goods.....

Starting with the bar area....and that wonderful thermostat in the middle of the wall.....which happened way before I got involved!

So I worked around it cause what was my choice?

Whenever I need good bar accessories I head to World Market.....they never disappoint!

The linen hand towels were a score!

I was happy to have one black and white picture left over!

I love the impact the gallery wall added to the room.  This was a long wall and it helped to add this Thibaut grasscloth wallpaper.

The rest of the room is paneled and painted SW Urbane Bronze.

Circa Lighting chandelier.

Some detail shots...

Love these Zak and Fox pillows....

This Woodbridge Furniture table.....

  Love the details on it!

My new favorite Currey and Co lamps.

Arteriors Home leather ottoman.

Duralee fabric on these pillows.

Don't forget you can use a tray in a tray...ha ha

Trim on the curtains.

And that's a wrap:)

This is the absolute favorite part of my job.....yes the shopping can be tedious but when it comes together it feels magic!

I fixed the links on the previous Look For Less post....not sure what happened but let me know if any of them are not working now.

And a WW update....holding at 13 lbs for about 2 weeks now.  Of course I have only been able to W/O once this week so far.....because of my CRAZY schedule!

I hope y'all have the best weekend ever!

CASHIERS DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE

I think I mentioned that I was went to Cashiers a couple of weeks ago with Michael Ladisic to look at a project.  It was a fast trip but we did run through the Cashiers Designer Showhouse [which was 3 small cottages] quickly.  And I do mean fast!

I have some pictures but seriously I have no names or info on anything so if you email me to ask a question I will poke you in the eyes:)

AND.....I hope that none of the designers get mad if I don't credit them.....because I did not record who did which room.

I really liked this kitchen in the first cottage....especially with the countertop material running up the back giving it a nice clean look.

I have always loved a lamp in a kitchen....

Laundry room

I believe it was a Cambria.

This family room was a mix of modern and rustic....

Pretty trim on these curtains.

This was one of my favorite bedrooms....so pretty and classic.

I do remember that this bathroom below was painted SW Urbane Bronze and I love it!  That gold mirror.....Hubba Hubba!  Somebody tell me who makes it please:)

The only reason I know who did this one is because I happen to see the list of stuff for sale.....BD Jefferies

Again...it has a masculine feel to it which I tend to gravitate towards.....

I love the ceiling....and all of the textures

I was all over this dining space....it was perfection to me.

This iconic Brunschwig and Fils wallpaper is a classic....

On trend with black and white buffalo check....

Pretty Schumacher pillow fabric!

I love this cow by Dawne Raulet who did my beloved swan:)

This trend of wooden chairs and stools.....

Colorful wallpaper!

Another pretty kitchen.....

There was a lot to look at and so many styles! Rustic, modern and traditional.....something for everyone.

Favorites?

And yesterday while Irma was around Atlanta [I hope all of your families are safe]..... I did nothing as shown by this picture.
The only reason I got this many steps was chasing Cami while she had the "indoor zoomies"!

It's hard to explain to a dog that there will be no walks today:(

Thanks for reading y'all.....
