SHOPPING IN ATLANTA

Note to self.....don't take any jobs after October 1st.

Of course I say that every year as I am running around trying to satisfy all of my commitments....meanwhile my house has no Christmas decor and looks like one of those Korean missiles landed in my guest room which is full of fabrics and accessories for my installs!

I was all over the place yesterday looking for the perfect accessory for bookcases, bedding, pillows and just plain stuff!

After 9 stops I gave up and went home but I did manage to snag a few things.

First up.... I stopped off at Serena and Lily which just opened recently here in Atlanta.

I love seeing their fresh look up close and personal!

I just bought the coffee table above for a project and can't wait to put the room together after the first of the year.

They are heavily invested in Blue and green and I was loving it!
Didn't find anything there but did see a few things for future jobs!

Next up....it's no secret that I love Bungalow Classic.  I could go in there blind and pick things out for a room.

There is a new store in town which I was excited to check out....Hudson Grace

I am sucker for wooden bowls!

Of course this is where I gasped with all of this black and white goodness!

I headed back to Buckhead and stopped into Gramercy looking for bedding.

Scored there with this beautiful Matouk!

The perfect color!  Kind of exciting

I sent a picture to my client and heard nothing.  I then sent a text message to school her on the correct response..... and that would be to answer with emoji's jumping up and down in excitement.  It's a long day and I needed some validation:)

Next stop Web Marsteller where I can always score.

I love to put a beautiful bowl on the coffee table!

I had to go over to ADAC and order some fabric so I made a quick stop into Stark Carpet....and holy smackdown.....this rug made me weak in the knees!

My next stop was to Home Depot to look for some subway tile for the beach kitchen reno.  Y'all I REALLY messed up with the paint color down there.  Since I could not use BM paint....[it was going to be about 500.00] more I had to pick a SW color quickly.

I went with SW Pure White thinking "what the heck....if it says pure then it must be white".

Good Lord.  Mistake.  It looks so darn yellow I could cry.  I can barely talk about it but SINCE nobody answered my cry for help in my last post I was left hanging.

Um hello....remember me.....your buddy?

ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 5

I don't even remember where we left off.  Who am I....what's my name....where do I live.

I usually think God knows what's best for you so he tapped me on the shoulder to say "leave the One Room Challenge alone this time" because your plate is full.  Linda did you know something I didn't:)

Did I listen.....of course not.  It appears that I need more than a tap..... like a punch in the face, a poke in my eyes, and heavy stomping on my feet.

I did not have time to go to the "bunny hutch this week as I just got back from Boulder yesterday afternoon.  I have to rely on my sisters update pictures that she sent to me and since these are "1st world problems"....I know you guys will cut me some slack.

Pretty please....

I wish I had some perfectly staged styling pics for you but we are going "old school" today with plain old update shots:)

The wallpaper is up.

I think it's just enough pattern and color

The wing chair is back and how classic is this?  Since her kids are gone I know Bunny is not going to live here much longer and I think she could use this anywhere!

The basket I ordered on Overstock arrived.

She installed the knobs and pulls from Ikea.....big difference!

These end tables from Pottery Barn.....are so good y'all.

With the lamps....yikes...note to self NEED LAMPSHADES.

The curtain fabric and trim arrived and is being fabricated.

I told her to make some art.....

The stark fabric is here and I will be begging to have these pillows made ASAP.

The scary part is I have to take the final shots this weekend because next week will be the HB Kitchen Of The Year install.  I wish I had a professional photographer so I wouldn't have to take 8000 pictures to maybe get 10 good shots:(

Do you realize it's Thursday?  Holy s#*t people.

A huge thanks to Bunny for expediting all of this since I am in the weeds.....love ya sis:)

MY WEEK

Another week has just flown by like it had the thrust of jet engines.

......and we all know there is no stopping time.

Tick....tick....tick....

I had a bit of a lull and got my Pansies planted which meant pull out one dead and wilted Impatiens and shove a Pansy in its place.  Easy peasy.  I also threw some mums in a pot by the door.

And fall decorating is done:)

Saw some great stuff at HomeGoods....

All of this together could have been a great room!

I regret that I did not buy these 2 mirrors....so gorgeous.

And these little beauties!

Picked up my phone..... so excited!

This sucker almost bit me.  Seriously.  Like my foot grazed it.  So now I am freaked out and can't go on the trail anymore.

I am still shuttering.  And to top things off....fall brings out spiders and webs.  It's the season of crazy movement and and slapping air as we walk through an unnoticed web.

Took a little stroll through Anthropologie.
Knob city.

Then I found myself in Zara [thanks to the encouragement of a friend] and bought this scarf!

I cruised down to  Lewis & Sheron Fabrics.

Might need to do a project with this killer Lacefield Designs fabric.  I just get all giddy when I see a great paisley. You?

Headed over to ADAC yesterday to start putting together a plan....
Was crushing on this trim.....

Are you bored yet?

Ran through Stark Carpet and got excited about this little lovely:)

Ate one of these in Kravet

Sourced this for host chairs at the end of a very wide....12 foot long dining table.

Also put together these cool chairs [Bernhardt Interiors] and coffee tables for a project!  That antique marble one is killing me.

Posted this in Instagram yesterday.....

These Steve Madden shoes are so comfy....like athletic shoes in disguise! I actually got mine at Nordstrom Rack.

And that's it.  Whew.

Hope y'all have a productive weekend.....I will be working on my ORC project:)
