BATH VANITIES

It's hard to believe that the end of July is so near.  Seems like we were just getting excited about warm weather and now I am praying for snow.

Yes...I meant to write that.  And if I complain about the cold weather this winter poke me in the eyes.  It's like "groundhog day" around here with the temperature in the high nineties.

Everyday.  All day.

Let's talk bathroom vanities.  I saw a really cool home not long ago and the owner has a great store on Miami Circle  [another design area in Atlanta].

This house was built in 1917 or something like that and was originally a camp for orphan girls.

The owner John Tribble is an art and antique  collector.....think he would have noticed if I had borrowed a few of these gorgeous pieces:)

My pictures are crappy but I just wanted to show what a great mix of furniture there was.

The doors were painted a black/blue with this gorgeous hardware.....

It was hard to photograph but behind this stained glass window is the front door so it is the first thing you see when you walk in.

Talk about a focal point.

Anyway back to bath vanities.  J. Tribble Collection has some awesome vanities and if you don't see what you want then I am pretty sure John can fix that.

See for yourself.

Did I leave out any style?  Doubt it.  And if you need some awesome Hardware Line.....

They come in different finishes....and sizes...... no walking out of there thinking "I just couldn't couldn't find anything".  #ohhellno.

Bathroom vanities have come a long way huh!

I am pretty sure that most designers and bloggers would point at this and sigh.....thinking I am gonna start with changing the hardware.... and  painting this bad boy.... asap.

One last thing....I saw this gorgeous wallpaper the other day.....

Could you die?

Stay cool y'all.

Love everything -- how does one of each sound? And I now need a monumental piece of stained glass and a wall full of dreamy oil landscapes in gold frames. Thanks for the inspiration -- I think $$$$. Jo @ Let's Face the Music

I LOVE that dark vanity that has that "old church" feel. My husband loves pedestal sinks (I have no idea why) so I'm trying convince him that we need something more substantial in our large bathrooms in the new house. So far, no go but maybe a few of these might help to change his mind.

Wow and another Wow, all are so unique and the finishes are wonderful.Bathrooms are my absolute favorite room to design and these beauties would make any bathroom a show stopper. Keep cool, we are having some really hot days here as well, first thing in the morning the air is already hot, no cool breezes in sight. Happy Tuesday,
Kathysue

Love the vanities ... so beautiful ... and that whiskey barrel!!! Do NOT ask for Snow. I know it is hot, but I am still not over the winter shock we had here. When it does start to snow here and you are still hot you are welcome to visit!! xokim

while I agree that when it's so hot, it's like winter because you stay inside the air conditioning but here in Chicagoland, the ice and snow is treacherous. Not missing snow one bit. Beautiful post, by the way.

I have been lusting after J. Tribble vanities for a few years now. I even went so far as to get some finish samples for the powder room in our Virginia home. But then we built our new home in FL and (sob) we can't justify replacing brand new vanities--at least not right away...

Every time I see their vanities in a mag I just sigh. Best, Beth C.

Love the one above the whiskey barrel. Great inspiration for my entry commode. Need to redo as the pulls broke during our move. Going from that faux-Italian style and moving on to a better Southern California beach cottage feel. Good idea because that's where I live. Thanks for the great ideas! You Are Sherrific!
