A LITTLE ORC UPDATE

OK.....first things first.  You remember when I posted about an artist whose gorgeous home on Lake Burton was published in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles?  It was all done in white and I drooled.....

Well....you won't believe what happened after that.  Her name is Dawne Raulet and she reached out asking if I was the "Sherry Hart" who used to teach fitness at Jeannes Body Tech?  She remembered me and had been a member there years ago.  I was so happy to be able to say "why yes I am".

Anyway....long story short she wanted to paint me something...of course I was all...oh you don't have to do that...and on the other end of that email I was  like FOR REAL......holy smokes....clapping my hand together like a kid at a birthday party getting a goodie bag.

And guess what?
Yep....I picked it up on Tuesday.

omg people.....

Is this perfect for my room or what?  Can you believe it?  I am so thrilled!

And dang her home was so incredibly gorgeous that I wanted to break out my camera but for damn sure that would have sealed the deal of "crazy....stalker....girl crush" image right then.

So I restrained.  But I wanted to so badly.

I did my ADAC design tour on Thursday and it went really well.  I met Laura Hemandez who is manufacturing these beautiful trays.....and she brought me my very own!

How freaking gorgeous is this?  Was it like Christmas for me this week?

You betcha.

You can find Laura on Instagram [rinnovarestudio] if you are interested in one of your own!

Have you heard about this app called Patternsnap?

Take a picture of a pattern and it will tell you what it is!  Check it out.

Have a swell Monday

Shut up!!! I just love that feeling - your insides doing flips while your screaming "woot, woot!!!" in your head, all while on the outside you're trying to act calm "hey man, it's cool." You lucky dog, you.
