SOME NEW SCHUMACHER

Those who follow me on Instagram might think I have a drinking problem if you saw all of my pictures this weekend.

Disclaimer*** I was an onlooker for most of those activities.***
I just happen to be with friends who like a variety of libations.

That's how they roll and I was rolling with.

There.....hope I got my reputation back :)

I don't know about you guys but I am buckwild excited for Dexter and Homeland seasons beginning  tonight.

As I admitted earlier.......I was a slacker this weekend and starting Monday morning I have an ample amount of work to get going on with  UMCH......and a couple of projects to put together.  Not complaining though just stating the facts :)

Let's just start with the favorite part of my job...and of course that would be fabrics.  Whoa there's a news flash for you.  Send in the camera's.....news at 11.

This is what digging through baskets of fabrics turned up for me.  Of course sometimes when I start I get lost in this world where I have imaginary friends......

I began with a favorite Schumacher wallpaper Rajasthan Paisley.
I love the grayed down colors in it and thought it went nicely with this new Schumacher fabric in the upper right hand corner.

It's a beauty huh?

I dug deeper and found another new Schumacher fabric that I  was feeling some love for.

What cha think about it?

Then I changed up the wallpaper just for grins...

This is another Schumacher fav......Manor Gate

The paisley on the left is Schumacher/Martyn Lawrence Bullard Pasha Paisley.  The picture does not do it justice......it's beautiful.

I went completely off the grid and grabbed some KW.  I'm sure by now my eyes were rolling back up in my head and I was speaking in tongue.

If my dogs hadn't come in a broke spell I might still be locked in the trance.

Speaking of fabrics......Schumacher has dropped their fall line and there are some beauties.  I will be sharing with you soon.....

Can you believe that tomorrow is October 1?

Hey let me put you in a real sweat.....just so you know.....only 85 days until Christmas.

BOOM.

You have a great understanding of patterns, textures, colors and proportions. Have you thought about designing your own fabric line? I think you should, Sherry. It would be the bomb :)

Have you used this Schumacher wallpaper on a project? I am considering using it in my hall but I would really love to see photos of it used in a real project. I love the sapphire color paper. I too am so excited about Dexter and homeland!

I just caught up with Homeland yesterday during their marathon of last seasons episodes. I'm completely hooked! No wonder it won so many awards. I'm going to watch it tonight and try to get my husband hooked too. Gonna have to try watching Dexter too. It looks good also. Love those fabrics. I'm such a fan of grey and white anyway.

The ikat on the left in the last photo that's just simple dots and circles is a KW fabric? I like that.

I've never seen Dexter or Homeland. Can you imagine?

Knowing which fabrics go with one another is a gift, and you certainly have that special gift.

Dexter's problems are intensified with Debra's knowledge this season.

Christmas always creeps up much too quickly.

Thank you for the reminder about Christmas! We are only a month into back-to-school and I am trying to formulate a more regular routine with my kids so I can get back to work and back to blogging more efficiently. I am not even ready for fall :) Anyway, love the fabric, particular the paisley and I am usually quite taken with some of MLB's line.

ok i gotta know, what is that scrumptious navy/brownish organic vibe on the fabric at the end? is it a KW? kinda a la bengal bazaar. i LOVE it. ps - i happen to love the first wallpaper BEST. you are amazestumps at picking out combos.

Whoa, knock me off my feet. I think the first one and and last grouping have me totally. I love the tweed wool looking ones for contrast to the lightweights. Beautiful Sherry.
Hope your week is going well.
