SOME GOODNESS FROM SCOTT'S

I am a little late with this post.....and might not be able to finish until after my presentation later on this morning....but there are stories to tell and pictures to see!

As I mentioned, I worked at Scott's on Friday selling pillows....uh....what could better for me to sell right?

BEFORE we get to that here are a few shots from Thursday...

Every time I see a group of things...I want to start a new collection.  I love these old scoops....and thrown together in a rustic dough bowl...they would look fabulous.  Plus....even in a modern kitchen something rustic and old is a great look.  In my opinion of course.

She caught my eye...especially with the blue in the background....When I went back for a second look...SOLD!  Probably a good thing.

Even broken plates have some use right?

Oh so cute...I might even leave the fabric if I was going for that "shabby chic" look...or something modern...."a la Furbish".
This guy told me that Reese Witherspoon bought one of these...Reese if you are reading...share please.

Monster love here...there were 2 of them.  The fabric was original and was a heavy linen.  Could you die.

Look....I can go from vintage scoops to this modern benchapalooza.  I'm transitional like that.

I could just do a post with the chairs of Scott's....I mean it is like they [vendors] know what our weakness is right?  Suckers.

Crusty cream.....
In a laundry room....kids room....there were 2!

Nice little baubles for the coffee table....plus when you felt like working out...well there you go.  Should we just gold/silver leaf some kettle-bells?

Don't we love interesting things....it is nice to have some different shapes in your room.

Once again...if it is blue there is a pretty good chance that I am going to include it.  I used old corbels in my kitchen.

Not every wall needs art....sometimes a nice architectural piece adds interest.

And just in case you are tired of your old boring mailbox...or you want to let your neighbors know that your taste is questionable then this little gem is for you.

I liked these.....not specifically the coleus in them...

but maybe an arrangement like this.

This guy made them....so if you live in the area...get a couple!
Or wait until next month and he may be back.

Of course...what is a post without orange in it?  These were rocking my boat....

I have a great "pillows of Scott's" post planned along with what my day was like on Friday playing vendor!

Don't let Monday beat you down....

Whoa. Sherry you've got some amazing finds here! I want the mailbox so that I can watch the neighbors react. That would be quite entertaining!

Sherry, I am like you, I can love old and modern things too. Everything was great...but now that fish mailbox..not for me. But it's funny. I love the blue in the picture and the little case next to it. Cute. Smiles, Susie

Awesome finds but the item that stole my heart is the gorgeous bench with the scroll design. And they have to take it up a notch with the nail head trim! Totally swooning!

I haven't been to Scott's in forever. I so need to make a trip. That settee fabric reminds me of the old Waverly/Laura Ashley fabrics of the late 80s early 90s.

I think what Reese bought was a 3 person teeter/totter.

Oh man, I thought I was getting pillow madness in this post - I guess you'll just leave us hanging for the time being. I can't wait to read all about it. You must be the best pillow seller of all time - that Sudi is a smart cookie. I really like the broken plate in the jar.

I'm kind of partial to corbels ... in any color!! Scott's looks like it was a great weekend ... Brimfield was kind of slow due to the fabulous weekend in Atlanta with Scott's AND the mart! Looking forward to your pillows!

I love your photos from Scott's since I can't get there physically! What fun things! It would be hard to say no to a lot of it. Probably a good thing I don't live nearby.

LOVE the corbels, hanging red light pendants and that sexy bench! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you. Be sure to share Reese's email when she responds, K?

That is just too tempting of an environment for me. That takes more willpower than I have. I don't know how you do it.

Must...get...to...Scott's...next...month! That place is feast or famine but you do a great job of showing all that is good and wonderful. Do you go there super early? I've gone on Sundays in the past and I think that I'm missing out.

Oh my goodness love the wood/corrugated metal planters! I gasped out loud when I saw his location, that's just 45 minutes north of me. I think I have some convincing/browsing to do!
