I am not complaining.....because I know in January when it is really cold [cold for us southerners like 30 degrees then I will be whining....]
Thanksgiving....here are a few shots of the table I did for Jan. I know that table settings always look busy...am I in denial? Maybe it was a little full....so what...who cares.....
We just kept layering and layering.
The flowers....white roses from Costco [bought on Monday...used for another party at a friends house on Tuesday night.....recycled on Thursday and they are still going strong for another party on Sunday night] Gotta love that....
Place settings....
Colors were orange, brown, and cream. With a splash of green....
Setting tables can be real fun.....especially if you have beautiful things to work with huh????
Here is what I came up with on the front porch.
Hot glued moss to clear glass plates to set on the birch logs....
Stuffed this with more greenery and large pinecones.
White pumpkin on an old stool....
That is all I got for you .....I have been sleepy today. I really WANT to get out some Christmas decor....I am going to try.....really hard. Swear. Or I could go down on the couch....it is a tossup.
For those of you that wanted the info about the herringbone carpet: It is by Langhorne Carpet Company. Color: 814 natural/black. Pattern: 21312.
I am getting it priced out right now....hope it isn't scary expensive :(
Continue enjoying your Holiday weekend.....Sheriky

You did all of that Sherry?? Wow!! I love all of the textures textures textures. Is that eucalyptus and a cinnamon stick I spy in the centerpiece? Wish I had that right now smelling up our house. And the front porch is gorgeous!!! I love all of the greens and candles. Really pretty Sherry. I've gotten a few Christmas things out but I'm all about the R&R too.
Hope you had a
wonderful T-day!
Flying home from
Maryland's balmy
temps to a high of
45 : ). Yikes! I'd
vote for the nap on the
couch....

Hey I am that "scary older (51) woman having a hot flash"! That's the first time I've typed that number and it's freaking me out!!! Anyway Jan's table looks fabulous and love all the greenery you've done already. Tomorrow's another day don't worry about Christmas stuff today although we've put up our wreaths on the house and barn....wooohoo!
Enjoy that slumber!
Debra
Vera nice:) Love the "green" use of flowers in multiple arrangements! And I say take a load off and rest on the couch....just sayin:) Have a great "rest" of your weekend!
The table looked beautiful. Love the arrangement and the recycled roses. But my favorite I have to say is the front entrance. Hellllooo!!!! Did you just happen to have white birch lying around? I love every single bit of that! Gorgeous!! Bravo and on.
Love the table setting, not too busy, all good. I'm sleepy too, carb overload from this week!
Sherry, I love the table setting and truly love what you did outside. Love the birch logs with the greenery and candles. I wish I had birch logs. Wonder if the neighbors would mind if I cut down just one of their birch trees? I really don't think they would miss it too much. I haven't started Christmas decorating either. Had planned to today, but my dog is sick and I just can't drag everything out with running her to the bathroom if you know what I mean.
Such pretty colors on the table - I have to say I am adoring that porch! The birch and branches - the shape of the candles - I would love to know where you purchased the candles. So well done!!!
oh my stars. stunning, sherika. totally beautiful. donna
Holy white pumpking...you have outdone yourself Sherry!! Sooo beauitful....and I can relate to those unexpected heat waves that make us feel like we are getting flashes but of coures we are way too young for those, right? Right!
The table setting is SPECTACULAR...love love love the color scheme!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
I LOVE everything you did on that table and outdoor entrance area! I am a huge fan of those colors used together along with burlap and brown and white checks. I love all the texture you used too. Just lovely!!
Love your center arrangement on your table. The white roses mix with all the fall folage is so unexpected and fabulous. M.
Pretty pretty table girl! Where do you get those giant candles outside?
What I wouldn't do for 67 degrees down here in SoFla. Waaah waah. XOXO
It all looks great! And I love full tables - it's like layered interiors - so much to look at and enjoy! The outdoor vignettes and the floral arrangements are beautiful as well - you did a great job!
It all looks so pretty! I love what you did outdoors...amazing displaywork, and now you have to get in gear for Christmas?!!
Ok Martha Stewart, you outdid yourself again.
Amazing. I just un-invited you to Whitney's wedding
Unless you do the tablescapes!!
So funny to me that you are roasting at 67 degrees! Here in So. Cal we pull out the scarves and ugg boots once the temp drops below seventy! Love the birch logs and the black and white bow...so classic and elegant.
The table looks fabulous! I love the black and white gingham check added in. The birch logs are wonderful too, where in the world does one find birch logs?? i think they're beautiful, but have no idea where to find them.... and i love the kale with the white center in the planter!
Cindy
Love it Sherry! That gorgeous ribbon is the perfect touch! Love me some checks! And the front? I do not have sufficient adjectives to express how much I love it! A few tiny changes and it is good to go for Christmas! Stunning!

Really stunning. I just put up Christmas stockings (pretty ones that I got last year after Christmas for 75% off--they were too expensive to begin with). Ah the whole tree ordeal now...I'd better get in the spirit!
