SCOTT'S FEBRUARY

Since I had the flu last month [still such a bad memory] I never made it to Scott's.  It's rare that I miss it so I was anxious to get there since I will be out of town next month.

I was on the hunt for an old map of Atlanta [or Georgia] for a client and remembered seeing some.  Seriously.....what can't you find at Scott's.

I had shown them a really expensive version from Restoration Hardware.  They loved the idea but wanted it to mean something as opposed to just a random map of some European town.

Mr. "client" is from Atlanta so I scored this 1888 map for a great price.  It will be framed and placed over the mantel.  Whoop!

After finding what I was looking for I could return to random shopping:)

First stop....pillows from my good friend Sudi.  So proud  of her first collection at the mart.  She did really well and is busy planning for the spring show!

I loved how this lamp in the booth behind her matched her pillows :)

Looking ahead to spring these colors were making me happy!

But.....you know I am a neutral girl at heart.

This is a great way to use a small piece of fabric.  Especially if it is a really colorful piece and you don't want the whole pattern.

This was the first one I saw....love the trim down the middle.

The KW treallis looks so good with these other pillows right?
And  this little number looked good with Lori's scarf and earrings!

More great color here!!

From other vendors.....

Kind of a flame stitch with a hiccup!

And.....a graphic zebra....

Oh Mommie....this was a beauty.

Great color combination...

Gotta thrown in my fav color.

Lori and I both loved this one.

I know....but it is still one of my favorites.  Shoot me.

Sometimes I like to take a picture of pretty styling....just cause.

Topiary world....short life at my house.

I did love this little container....

One would look strange but everything looks better in groups right?

Lori managed to score a series of these.....

I know....greenery in vintage bottles....so simple.

Love the shape of this ottoman....

Would look great in a kids bedroom....

A mile of white tulips....

Gorgeous oval mirror.
Then I walked past this booth and left black skid marks on the floor.  Whoa nellie....

Gets me every time....black, taupe, gold and cream.  I am so in.

Throw in a vintage bottle......some wood....

Oh baby....I laid down in his booth and said I'm not moving.....officially squatting..... until I can breath again

I say we end it here....

It's the last day for the Inspiration House.....I am kind of tired of being there.  OK...I said it.  But seriously it is like the install that never ends.

I am sick of looking at our room and thinking of how I could change it. Although....remember when I complained about the move in with so much rain.

Guess what.

Uh huh....tomorrow we move out and they are calling for rain for the next 3 days....like flash flooding rain.

Expect complaining.

Savor Sunday.

Haha you crack me up! I didn't get to make it to Scott's this month, waaah. Although I did get to Queen of Hearts, so all is not lost.

Wish I could have gone this month, but we had to go to Nashville to visit the grands. Great stuff. Yes, MORE rain coming.

Every time I see a Scot's post I am sad that I can't go. Then I remember that if I could go I would be broke from buying everything.
I love the mile of tulips.

i, too, live in a neutral world. but lately i've been craving color like nobody's bizness! those beautifully colorful pillows would definitely do the trick without putting me in a color coma. love, love!

I saw you amid the pillows on Friday, Sherry, but you'd moved on by the time I made my way over there to say hello! Maybe next time!

The ikat pillows are fabulous! And that oval mirror, would you please go back and get that for me? And I could use some architectural prints for my dining room, that should do. I need to get down there and shop!

Glad you're feeling better!
