COASTAL LIVING SHOW HOUSE

As promised here are some pictures of the Coastal Living Beach House in Rosemary .  I have to confess...I am a little late to this party as there have been many bloggers who have beat me to the punch!

I will post them at the end so you can get your fill of this beautiful home.  You may or may not know that it was designed by Erika Powell of Urban Grace blog.  She did a fabulous job and I was in love with the color scheme.....and well just about everything in it.

Before I start with pictures, all of the paint colors were Pratt & Lambert paints...Gorgeous.

I know you can't read these so I am going to break it down for you....or maybe you can cause y'all are young.  I need something the size of a telescope to see.

This place had me at the front door...which was painted Coos Bay 19-31.  The window casings and garage door was Steel Wool 33-14.  The body of the house was Seed Pearl 27-32.  All perfect.

Very pretty.  Seed Pearl on the ceiling and a texture wallpaper on the walls....

Close up of wallpaper....

I loved this little vintage sewing kit.....and the plates.

Nice little Circa Lighting lamp...which by the way...they did all of the lights.  What is not to love right?

In the master....brass throughout the place!

Easy bed to make up....loving that slender pillow....

2 chairs at the foot of the bed.....details.

Closeup of a vintage brass bowl....

Guest room.  Paint color was Moss Lake 19-30

It looks more green than it really was....
Love this trim...I think Lee Jofa.  The pillow fabric is Kravet I think....pretty sure.  If I am ever on Jeopardy and the category is fabrics then I might win...just sayin.

More Circa to make you drool....

Trim on the curtains...

This was a fun vintage painting in the bath.

One of the baths.  I viewed this house with my friend Cindy and she is not in the design business...so when I started drooling over the brass fixtures she looked at me like I sprouted horns.  I am not sure that trend has reached the general public.

More brass...she is still "scoffing" about it!
I laugh because by the time it really catches on we will all be on to something else right?

A little unsure where these were...my picture taking gets a little sketchy now....slacker.
One of my favorite colors was in the master bath...Hesperia 25-30...Gawd.
So dang pretty I almost licked it.

Moving into the living area....It was hard taking pictures in here because for some reason they had let other people in during my "private tour".....:)

Detail on one of the chairs.  All the furniture was Lee Industries....my fav.  Made in America.  Uh huh.

One of 2 seating areas.

All the curtains were made by Drape98.  They were beautiful and made from Sunbrella fabric.

Love the dining area.
More brass...and gray.
Color of the walls was Ever Classic 32-24

Detailing on the headboard slipcover...

Pretty Intaglios....

More Circa.....goodness.

Bathroom knobs....

I don't know who the artist was but me likey.

Upstairs living space....

BRILLIANT!  Love the painted ping pong table.  Love.  Love.
Did I mention love?

Boys bunk room....and

Girls bunk room.  Which....is being torn out.  The home has sold and they are making this an exercise room.....

I think I missed a room....
But I am going to list other post with as many pictures as I took if not more!!!
Angela from The Painted House
Julia from Hooked on Houses
Kris from Driven By Decor
Patti from Pretty Old Houses

Hope I have not left anyone out.  I googled.  It was SO nice to just be blatant about taking these pictures...no hiding...no silly sneaky iphone pictures.

The house is only open on the weekends [Friday-Sunday] now through October 7th.

The architect was Lew Oliver
The builder was Stan Benecki

Outstanding all around.  Now if I had not sold that Apple stock when it was 80.00@share......

Cool weather has arrived.

Shazam.

Gee I hate to be drooling all over, but Sherry, your pictures of this home are the BEST of the lot! You took so much time to photo the details! Loved your brass observation! Now that Star ceiling medallion is to die for, not to mention the many fixtures! I love the brass hardware.
The colors....oh so perfect!
It is one spectacular "Beach" house!

Not certain, but I think the art is by Michelle Armas. Her work is lovely!

I love love love.

And, am so thankful that brass is best (for now) since my house is full of it.

I love your pics of the Coastal Living house - your eagle eye picked up on so many fabulous details that my nearsighted ones did not! Every room and detail of that house is stunning!

Where have I been that I hadn't seen this. So glad you posted it. The lighting? Omg. I cant stop drooling over the details, like the trims on the pillows, the chairs, the drapes. I think its all in the details like that. Trim has gotten a bad wrap as people favor simplicity, but I'm it's biggest defender!

OMG Sherry - I have that exact same little sewing box sitting in my closet upstairs filled with needles and thread. It belonged to my mother. I'd seen the show house on other blogs but your pics showed terrific detail - thank you or I would have never seen the sewing box! And how hilarious that brass might be making a come back! Love your photos...

I'm dying over the hardware - just gorgeous! And that ping pong table is the coolest thing I've seen in a while - love the paddles on the wall too!

In defense of your friend, I was also under the impression that brass was "out." I was at a presentation a year ago where the decorator said we should "de-brassify" our homes. So, I'm relieved, since I have quite a bit. Any idea of a source/artist on the prints surrounding the TV? I love the photos and your comments are entertaining as well. thanks for sharing, Sherry.

I so agree about the brass...love that it is coming back in much softer tones than what we had available in the seventies...thanks for sharing these inspirational photos

There's just too much pretty to comment on here. This one deserves a big Shazam. That ping pong table is awesome. The details on the pillows and the drapes was a fave, and I really want that sofa shown in the one photo. Thanks for the tour Sherry-Berry.

Really scrumptious colors, thanks for sharing those swatches. It all starts at the entrance, which is just incredible and moves throughout the house. I heard a whisper of brass months ago, and now it's in all the cool houses, it's so fun to watch the trends develop... Thanks for the tour!

Great post on the beach house. The details were soooo good and you really got 'em. I didn't realize the new owners were taking out the girls' bunk room, but maybe they don't need to sleep 20 in beds. Thanks for linking.

We adore the costal look as well. So soft and elegant. Saw this article about how to decorate your home in a shabby chic theme (www.eieihome.com/blog/shabby-chic-decor.html). Enjoy!
