THIS AND THAT

Before we get started I need to address all the comments about big houses in neighborhoods with smaller houses.  Y'all....I get what you are saying but seriously that is NOT the biggest house in my neighborhood.  I would say about every 3rd-4th house has been renovated with second stories....

Most of the homes in Peachtree Park were built in the 40's and early 50's so when someone sells....the new owner will totally renovate or depending on the shape of the house just take it all the way down and start over.

Today I just have a little this and that....you know a bloggers term for "I got nuthin today"......hee haw!

If you follow me on Instagram you saw this in my stories....

Scroll down for the before.....we had it painted and then I went for a consultation to figure out how to give it a little patina!

We started with a little glaze....

And we added a touch of silver....it gets delivered next week!

Here is the before!

I found these barstools on Target [Opalhouse] for my client.....

She sent me these pictures....They look so good and really help to warm up a black and white kitchen!

This master bath chandelier was finally hung for the same client.....so pretty huh!  Circa Lighting.

Also when I was over there the other day we tried this chest in a bathroom.....and it worked!

It's actually very practical since there is no vanity in this one.....

Found this amazing mirror to use in her powder bath!

Also remember when Rose and I did a table setting?  They posted this picture and it was a pretty good shot so I thought I would share:)

Yesterday I met with a client and I showed her this wallpaper [Loomwell] for her laundry room....It looks so good with the tile floor [floor and decor]....

Another meeting at Charles Stewart for some dining room chairs......

And say goodby to Cami's long hair....she got so matted under her neck and chest that tomorrow morning she is getting shaved.
I wish it wasn't so.... but it's too painful to try and comb all those mats out!

I picked up this white shirt at Bloomingdales for 10.00 and was pretty excited!  I mean who loves and white shirt more than me!  It's by their own label Aqua and the boots are Aqua also.....I got last year but they are still available!

What is everyone doing this weekend?  I may scoot up to Scott's.....

I'm on my way to work out at my friends gym....she got a TRX installed yesterday so we will have fun with a new piece of equipment!

Is that weird.....I am excited about some gym equipment??

Y'all rock the weekend....do something fun!

How sturdy do those barstools from Target seem to be? They look substantial, but just wondering. Also - the pendants over the island are so gorgeous. Beautiful high-low project.

I love this type of this and that post so my comments will be the same
Real style that you paired Target stools with a high-end kitchen. Like incredible shoes with GAP jeans
That bookcase...you had real vision on that one! WOW!
I hear Scotts was PACKED on Thursday
So many neighborhoods have large homes with bungalows (bungalows are charming for a weekend but not always for everyday life IMO) At least the neighborhoods are cookie-cutter!

Our former neighborhood in Denver is similar to your neighborhood. 1950's ranches sell for mid to upper 6 figures and are knocked down and a McMansion is built on the site. We had remodeled our ranch but it just wasn't big enough for today's upscale buyer.
Second, girl, you are getting divorce skinny. Looking good!

I am about to start a kitchen remodel--and my island is stained black with white perimeter cabinets. Looking for countertop and I love what you chose for your client. Could you possibly tell me material and name of it? I found a beautiful marble slab too but want to make sure. I love the counter in the photo with the black island. Thank you!!!!

Love your post! Always inspirational. Regarding Cami, I am a hairdresser and I was in the business way back in the day when we teased (not haha kind of tease) hair and put enough hairspray on it to last one to two weeks. Clients did not wash their own hair at home so You can only imagine the tangled mess it was when they came for their next appointment🤯 My saving grace was a Mason Pearson brush. Not only was it the only brush I used but there were no tears, no damage to the hair and it’s great for the scalp too! The brush is expensive (I recommend a junior size or larger) it will be a game changer for you and Cami. You can use it on her weekly and you will no longer have this problem. It’s fantastic not only for her coat but for her skin as well. If you decide to give it a try, at first she may only let you brush her a minute or so but I promise if you stay with it she will love it! If she hates it, you’ll have a great brush for your self 😊

I have those Target stools, they’re great! Have had them about a year and they’ve held up very well to daily use, including a 7 yr old who has at least one meal a day sitting in one.

TRX equipment is no joke! I'm amazed at the different contortions and nonsense that people are able to come up with in using those things. GREAT workouts! Enjoy - you look gorgeous as always.
