PROJECT BOULDER BEFORE AND AFTER

I got back from Boulder last night and boy it was crazytown out there.  As with the other properties before this one..... 3 days is just barely enough time to do it.....and only as long as all the pieces of the puzzle are there:)

We were patting ourselves on the back for our extra planning as this house was larger than the last few.  Remember when I did a design board  a few weeks ago.....well somehow Cari and I managed to get most of it ordered!

They bought this house 6 weeks ago and I made one trip out there to brainstorm.  After that I did most of it over the computer.....

I am going to start with the real estate pictures....

Foyer

The custom railing was a game changer as far as I am concerned.

You remember I posted about this carpet..... I think it looks great!

When you walk through the front door to the left is the LR
All the walls are painted Benjamin Moore White Dove and the dark color is BM Wrought Iron.

Most of the furniture in this room has been used before...4 chairs from Ikea, rug from World Market, floor lamp from Target, gold circle from Homegoods, coffee table from Ikea
The gold on the FP doors has yet to be painted....

Go here and you can see how some of this furniture was used on another project.

Dining room....

Wall color BM Wrought Iron, this great table from Target,  [online] chairs from Overstock, rug from Wayfair, light fixture from Build.com.

After entering the foyer over to your right could be another bedroom but we showed it as an office...we ran out of beds:)

The walls are painted BM Hale Navy, the rug from Target, the desk from Ikea. Nothing new here...all from previous staging projects.

Through the foyer.....into the kitchen and family room area....

This is a full bath with the shower behind the door....

Wallpaper: Schumacher, mirror: Target, lights:  Build.com, lights: Build.com [still needs the backsplash which came broken....

I left yesterday morning and they were taking the pictures around 9:30....hopefully the bathroom mirrors and shower doors were installed.  Goes on the market Friday and open house on Saturday!

OK.....I know this is overload so I will finish up the rest tomorrow!   Remember people....this is only staging and Lord knows it is SO darn hard for me to stop....you know what I mean:)

It's back to work for me today......

Absolutely beautiful! Especially since Colorado is decoratively-challenged. The stair railing is a game changer for sure. Wow!!!

Did you actually write:
"I know this is overload"
when it comes to you and your decorating projects regardless of the "client" there is so such thing as 'overload"!
It's all amazing - as usual;)

Gorgeous! It's great to see lighter wood floors again. I'm going to say it one more time - it's insane that you weren't recruited for the One Room Challenge this year. Their loss! (I know you did it on your own, but you're deserving of the freebies and feature posts.)

Looks fabulous! The painted brick exterior is perfect as are the black windows; were those exterior window frames made of vinyl? Any tips for painting window frames a dark color? (type of paint? spray or brush? etc) Thanks!

You are a rock star. Your work is fresh, fun, creative, and all-round crazy good. And your blog is one of my favorites. How did you develop your aesthetic? I try to be like you, but I cannot pull off your results.

I've looked all over for the chandelier you've hung in the foyer. I'm obsessed. I've found isn lighting, but none quite like that one. Please divulge the source!!

What color did you use on the herringbone carpet? It's lovely with the oak.
