Alrighty then.....that's a wrap.
Pencils down.....the buzzer went off.....whatever isn't finished means you better fake it when taking your pictures right:)
Another One Room Challenge in the can....Linda can take the summer off while planning for the fall edition! Hopefully you are here because you know what the ORC is.....20 designers and 6 weeks to finish a room makeover. On Thursday's there are about 250 of us crazies riding the coattails and linking up!
I think we should get straight to it cause I could babble on for a while but y'all would already be scrolling down to the pictures right?
The beginning.....
Ha Ha...not really.....but dang it is so good when you have the worst "before"!
Ok....before the room was actually dismantled!
After
The whole room was planked with 1/2 " plywood and painted BM White Dove. It's very rustic meaning no caulking or anything.
Before
After
The the stripe duvet is from Ikea!
The white pillow with the rope cording is from Target.
Design secret.....when you are flat out of accessories.....throw a hat on it:)
Moving on.....before
After
Mirror from HomeGoods.....
I am in love with the Pottery Barn gold lamps and nightstands.
The vase is from Target....Rhino and bowl under the drawer from HomeGoods.
Before....this is the angle you see when you stand in the doorway...
The curtains were ready mades from Pottery Barn that we had small pleats put in. Rods from Target.
This is the before of the wing chair.
I found that small wood stool at HomeGoods for 49.00! Major score....
Pillow from World Market!
You can see the Schumacher wallpaper peeking out!
Hard to get a good shot in this area....
After
I call this bookcase styling "lite".....keeping it clean and uncluttered.
Bunny whipped up all of the art and the lamp and faux succulent came from Target. I just folded up some blankets for texture.
Bookcases painted SW Urbane Bronze
Finished!
I still had fun and huge thanks to "Bunny" cause she filled in all the holes for me by expediting, making the art and getting the room ready to install! She is thrilled and her daughter called from NYC and said she wanted the whole room shipped up to her!
I laugh when I look at my past ORC post and realize that almost every room has these colors in it! Crikey.....it seems like am I one dimensional!
Thanks Linda for urging me to link up:)
Excited to see all of the reveals from yesterday of the 20 designers and start reading through the linking participates this weekend!
No rest.....so much to do to help get the Kitchen Of The Year ready for it's big day this weekend:)

As always, looks BEAUTIFUL! Don't know how you did it all. Bravo!!
As always, you knocked it out of the park! I love the color palette and all of the pattern you added, and that wallpaper in that sweet little nook is awesome! Urbane Bronze is a personal fave - looks awesome on those bookcases! Well done!
such a pretty and soothing space!
Sherry,
What a beautiful and peaceful space! I love the color palate and especially the shiplap walls. I can't believe that duvet is from Ikea!!
You always knock it out of the park, always!
You must have the energy of a ten year old, seriously. How do you do it all?!!

So beautiful Sherry! I agree with Jenny, you always hit it out of the park and this is another crazy good space that you have created. That shiplap is so beautiful and the fabrics, perfection! High five friend! It's absolutely stunning, :)

This looks incredible. You did a fantastic job!
You never disappoint. I used to be a color girl but in the last couple of years you've made me love neutrals.
Love it all! I want to move in!
You did a beautiful job! Loving all the knick knacks and the textures you brought in. Great job!
No surprise, I absolutely LOVE this room! Oh my gosh, you went the smart way with rustic - I caulked and puttied and sanded my brains out when finishing my shiplap and I think I like yours better :) LOVE the Urbane Bronze bookcase and as always your styling is impeccable (I want that rhino btw).
You are my favorite!! Always love everything you do and this is no exception. Beautiful room!!
So serene. Shiplapping (that's a word, right?) the ceiling was a great idea. I love it!
I love how you can mix Target and Stark and it ALL looks high end... YOU = Good Taste.
Another stunner!!! Seriously, you have such a gift for combining neutrals and textures and making it look so interesting and effortless! Just beautiful, friend!
Fantastic room Sherry!
Good grief, this is good! And, I love how you planked the ceiling angle. Smarty!
This room is Sha-dope! Love the wallpaper, the styling (light), the planks. All of it. Really serene and beautiful.
As always, it is perfection. Love, love, love all the rooms you do. Gorgeous Sherry, truly gorgeous.
Beautiful job once again. You have the ability to see just where texture and pattern are needed, you never over do, it is always just the right amount. I call you the texture queen! Love the room it is perfection and has your stamp on it!

You are just too good! The room is beautiful and I love how you styled the shelves. Another successful one down!
It.s all so good! Love how you mix high & low. Speaking of....I tried to find the Target
lamp to no avail. Can you share brand name & how long ago you purchased it?
Stunning Sherry!!!! It looks ten times bigger esp bc of the beautiful new headboard! Perfect textile mix & the dormer transformation if awesome! Bravo lady!
Absolutely beautiful! The colors, the textures, the planking....its all just perfect! Great job!

Your are always my favorite ORC reveal! The room looks amazing! I never would have thought of using those lamps, but they just make the room and you are the fabric master!
I can never get over how you mix Ikea, Target & Homegoods finds with beautiful fabrics and wallpaper and dramatic paint for such a beautiful end result! Love everything you did in here Sherry!

AMAZING!! You have one lucky sista! I love the mix of the high and low...fabulous!!
Fantastic! I love your use of neutrals and I'm a big fan of Urbane Bronze too. My faves: the spotted pillows, the wallpaper, the lamps. I think you definitely belong in the main group of the Six Week Challenge. I liked your room better than most of the 20 from this year. Just sayin'. ;-)
One Room Challenge, not Six Week Challenge. DUH!
As always Sherry, you never fail to add "shazam" to everything you touch! Can't even believe it's the same space, a total turn-around in a fabulous way!Congrats & CHEERS to us for another room done!
Your spaces are always stunning Sherry! Love every detail of this bedroom.
Dang Sherry! This is soooo pretty! You are amazing. Why oh why were you not in the Wednesday 20? Some of them were nowhere near up to par with this room (except Claire Brody - that girl is a rock star. Congratulations on another awesome room!
I knew you could pull it off at the last minute! I'm so glad that most of your sources are retail so that we can all copy you now!!! Great job, as usual!
Wow, Sherry. Another fabulous room. Love all the texture - not one dimensional at all. When you do something this well you just keep on doin' it girl!! It's all good and I would want it shipped to me too. Especially that buffalo check chair. Seriously!!
This is beautiful! Your creativity is amazing ...
Can you give source for black floor lamp?
Also, are the green leaves in vase for real or faux?
Sherry I love this room! I've been seriously contemplating doing shiplap in my living room. After seeing this room I have to go for it. This is just the most darling room. I love all the little touches and how you found so many affordable elements for this room. Congrats on completing yet another gorgeous room!

Hi Sherry! I just wanted to let you know that out of 227 rooms during the last ORC, your room was one of the most inspirational for me! Thank you and hope you can check the post out and see why I thought it was so! Have a great day! http://buhayatbahay.blogspot.com/2016/05/orc-inspirations-lessons-learned.html
Love the transformation!
Where are the grey watercolor dot pillows (on bed) from?
I have been looking for a pattern sheet/pillow to tie in all my grey & neutral bedding together.
Thanks!
How do you do it? You just amaze me. I'm so glad that you linked up (just not a #ORC without your posts).
What happened to my comment??? You're awesome! Nobody does this neutral palate like you.
