Y'all I worked out for 90 minutes this morning and it was an ass whooping. DO NOT.....take 2 weeks off. I will be so handicapped by tomorrow that I might need help with sitting on the toilet.....and then getting back up.
Crikey.
I got quite a few questions about the fabrics and wallpaper from that last post so I am going to lay it all out for you.....consider it a 2013 present :)
The wallpaper is a Thibaut called Papagao.
It is new and comes in a few color ways.
One more closeup.
The geometric is from Schumacher called Ming Fret/Noir
I love this fabric and it is a nice upholstery weight.
The yellow floral is Suburban Home Fabrics by Duralee-72061/66
It has a fairly large repeat on it....
The blue linen/cotton is also by Duralee-36036/7
The scrim [another word for see through gauzy linen] is Duralee-51150/84. Last but definitely not least....is the pretty yellow trim Highland Court [Duralee] 78053H-779 Daffodil.
So if anyone uses this plan for their DR then I wanna see.....
Who's taking down their Holiday Decor today? Said with a slight smirk....not me. Cause I never got any up. How pathetic is that?
Have a wicked Saturday.

I just got photos yesterday from a client of the papagayo in cream as it goes up in her office. We also used the blue colorway in a bathroom (far away from the office). Love this paper!
Lots of gorgeous there, Sherry! I AM taking down my Christmas decor -- or should I say, my teenagers are taking down my Christmas decor. I shall supervise/organize with a nice cup of tea in hand. :)
Enjoy your weekend and break out the Ben Gay!

i plan on putting a few things away, but i bet you can guess that as the minimalist i am, there aint much anyway. most of the stuff i did add is of the 'wintry magic' variety so no need to even think about addressing until march.
shake it, shabooty.

Can I hire you? You have such a gift with colors, patterns, textures.....putting it all together!! I was at the showrooms yesterday....got a stiff neck from staring up at the wings. And arm numbness from flipping them.
So "Loverly"!
BTW..our Christmas decorations took 3 minutes to take down...same time as what it took to put up. The wreath on the front door on one of the door hooks! Back in box...all finished!
Hah- your last question was funny. Two week vacations are hard to come back from but I think one week ones are too! Happy New Year - Michele
tree is still up...may have to wait for kids to get back to school, I have let it go to Feb, before...I can roll crazy like that!
I only put UP decorations because of the grandson, I took it all down for the maid to come clean!

You took two weeks off ... I am afraid I have taken two YEARS off!! I am going to be immobile!! I love the colorways you are using! Happy New Year! xo
I start 5 day a week boot camp on Monday after taking 3 weeks off. I'm scared. Sitting down on the toilet is the worst and so much harder than getting back up.
So funny....take it easy and don't overdo it. I know that feeling well!
Love all your choices, used Papagao for a job and it came out so beautiful. It just totally warms up the room in the most beautiful way. You have a great way with fabrics and colors and love how you infuse your wonderful humor into the fun!
Sherry, love the black and white print...and the wallpaper is wonderful....there was something freeing about not getting my decorations and tree up this year. I just bought some fresh wreaths and fresh poinsettias... I might do the same next year!
I love that little birdy stuff

You'll love this: I read your first line and thought you said you WORKED for 90 minutes and were whooped after a 2-week break. I was chuckling and relating. But then re-read and saw you worked OUT for 90 minutes. Girl, I'd be whooped from a 90 minute workout, too! Hope you've recovered! Xo!
Sherry that is a great looking combo. Love the way everything looks together...and that is why you are the master. An ordinary non-decorator like myself would never think that up. Good stuff.
Love your blog! Thank you for sharing your sources - WOW! Hope we get to see this finished - your work is fantastic.
Love!! Only a few more days to Scott's!! Woot!
