Time for the January giveaway!!!

This month the theme of the giveaway is Palm Beach Design.  I found this great vintage fabric at Goodwill......one of the few things I have found there that was cool....AND a deal.  6 yards of fabric for about $5.  I am usually not that lucky.

I think the key is that you must go early and you must go often.  Neither of which I do on a regular basis.  I just can't be obsessive about it or I will end up awaking at the butt crack of dawn and stalking the employees as they arrive at work.  I can get like that.

BUT...on this one occasion I hit the fabric jackpot as they say.  I was skipping up to the register like a 6 year old her just got her first Barbie.  I know a little something about that....I was the first girl on my block in 1969 1983 1963 [I'm not telling] to get her with the black and white stripe bathing suit [Barbie was classic even back then] and the ponytail.  Let's just say it was a freaking long time ago.

OK...geez, back to what is important.

Here is what we have.

Pillows.  Already made, WITH the inserts.  Uh huh.  3 of them.

Cute huh?

Custom made with zippers!
Pretty flat welt.

24"
20" Trina Turk

Beautimus huh???

This vase.....
Could be pretty with some flowers in it.

And this book....Not gonna lie.  Got it at the GW for 2 dollars and it is brand new except for this....

Wonder if Nancy knows she gave it away.....

It could be the start of a bedroom......

Palm Beach Style.  So here are some pictures to inspire you!

Start with some color.....
Maybe a cute rug......
Or something like this....Navy would look good.
Add some pillows  from Suzanne's Etsy store studiotulla

Or these
or these....

Then maybe some art like this...

From here  Beverly Underwood on Etsy.

Maybe some art from The Pink Pagoda on Etsy

So.....I think we are on to something.  Now do not get confused and think I am giving away all the other stuff, because as much as I love you guys, not gonna happen.

Leave a comment and become a follower...........be kind to someone.......eat healthy and it's yours.  OK....the healthy part, I realize I am not your Mom.....but just try.

Scott's pictures.....and I am going to the Atlanta show this week.

My neighbor just invited me for dinner....yee haw!!!  Cause I was looking at a can of soup.

Later kids......

fun fun fun. This could make me feel very Palm Beachy...I miss it. I used to sell Scalamandré fabric there in bright little dresses. I just dropped off some fabric at my Salvation Army...not as cute as yours.

Palm Beach style always makes me smile and then my mind immediately goes to Lilly Pulitzer and all of her fun clothes.

So funny where you can find treasures. I live further north of you in the mountains and frequently I run into great Florida finds from people who've moved from the area and realize it doesn't suit the mountain look.

Great give-away Sherry. I'm an email follower and those pillows would look fabulous in my south Florida winter digs. And yep, I eat healthy too, but don't mind your reminding me to stay away from the chips. Have fun at Scotts.

Maybe it's just me, but I could never give away a book someone gave to me with an inscription inside. I'd have to THROW it away. No trace. ;)

I would use the pillows in my only daughter's, so far, room. Those colors and pillows are gorgeous!

Sunday... Hi Sheriky Freaky, if I may be so bold. I would like to share with you what a fun, humorous, relaxing and yet inspirational day I have had reading almost all of your blogs... just a few left (I really do have a life.. however I indulged myself today... healing my football wounds since the Broncos lost last evening.) I have sat here on the couch most of the day reading and laughing aloud as my husband is working hard around the house... cars oil change... getting the grill ready for dinner and trying to watch some football ..probably thinking... how lazy can my wife possibly be ..as I keep showing him decorating ideas as he passes by. ...I betcha a 1,000 bucks he'd just about rather be at work than for me to keep showing him the many design ideas I'm seeing.

Oh well, I'm having fun... I recently heard the podcast on itunes with you as a guest on Design Tips with Lee Anne and Martine and checked out your blog..

Hunny you so funny....

And how did I live in Atlanta for so many years and not know of Scotts????? Geeezzz ..talk about living under a rock.

Following ya now..... looking forward to more......

Leanne (former F/A too or as I say... an onboard bag lifter for the lazy with poor manners.. :)
