I am not sure of the designers, or where I got most of them so please if I posted yours and did not give credit....don't hunt me down.
What is not to love here...I am all over that wall of windows.
Again...window love and the simplicity of the dining area.
Wowza....
Please...I want a brick wall.
This one was convincing me about the white floors....the black mirror and one library sconce is to die.
I love the black lower and all white upper. Stunning.
The backsplash and the island.....come on.
White floors again....the island.
Dark grout....dining table in the center.....
The ceiling, love the color of the cabinets. I think this might be the odd one that is not white :)
Whoops...I lied. Love the stone wall, and that window to the left....whoa.
White floors again....no uppers. Touches of black. Shiny ceiling....BAM!
Simple, classic...taupe paint behind the cabinets...rustic barstools, light fixtures....hello lover....
Be very still my heart......nothing I do not absolutely love here.
Kay Douglas....Love. Her. Style.
More classic......paper behind the cabinets...subway with gray grout....
Finish on the cabinets....that funky cabinet in the corner....island. Yes please.
Been in my files forever. You know that the rest of this house HAS to be cool....that light fixture, those beams.
The cabinets...the floors.....those shelves. This is one great kitchen.
No introduction necessary....mad talent. White floors!!!
That island kills me.
The only one I like with dark kitchen cabinets......the light fixtures, the ceiling.
Floors...touches of black and white. So fun.
I think all of these kitchens MIGHT make me want to cook. But if not then takeout would taste so much better in them.

All of them are quite gorgeous! I actually posted the 12th photo down on my blog today. And I have this thing for dining tables that are in the center of the kitchen. Just makes me think of family.
Hoping things are well on the homefront! Will I see you at the cocktail hour on the 25th??
Wiping the drool from my chin....
We have the same pine beams in our kitchen as the first and third photos...
These are nice inspiration.

A few of my all time faves here and a few new ones that I am loving. Just cannot ever get enough of the classic creamy white kitchen with some wood elements and some dark wood contrast. LOVE it...throw in some honed marble, subways and I am set!! LOVE IT!
I love the ones with the black windows and that one with the black lowers- all so pretty!!
The kitchen with the horse head is from Southern Living last summer. I know because that was one of our inspiration kitchens, too. It's an all Ikea kitchen and so is ours. Love it!
I'm with ya sista! I so love all the windows and the white with a hint of black. I would love to paint our kitchen white. Then I'm not sure if I would have to paint the whole house white. Oh lord help me if I start another project it has taken me 3 weeks just to paint a small office/closet and I still have the trim. The only reason why the walls got done today was because it is raining and I can't finished planting my containers! xo
Oops I forgot to ask, how is your back? I hope the living arrangements calls for a bit of room serve for you and the pups. xo
I love every one of these. The first one looks like it could be YOUR kitchen, slightly reconfigured....
Wow, I hope you'll cough up some more of your stash. These are great.
I'm thinking about painting my bedroom floors white. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. But check out the white floors in the bedroom of this place...actually, you'll want to check out the whole place. A whole lot to love. http://www.johnabouttown.com/2011/04/furlow-gatewood
These kitchens are all so full of sunshine. Love that! The one with paper in back of the cabinets is perfect.
Your fame is only beginning Sherry :)
Hi Sherry,
What great pictures. I'm seriously considering using the library sconces in our guest bathroom on each side of a round mirror. They look good anywhere.
Hope you are holding up...fame or no fame.
Great inspirations! I will need to steal them for my own inspiration file. Just kidding. Each one is beautiful, great picks!

You are hilarious, Sherry. I'm having so much fun following your adventures. LOVE the one that's been in your file forever...that's the best chandelier ever...and love the scalloped island with turned legs too. P.S. You'll have another 15 min of fame real soon!

So many gorgeous kitchens. Love the 13th one with the wonderful pendant lighting, beadboard ceiling, and the patina of wood on the coutertop island...so beautiful!!
I'm with you 100% on all of these kitchens...absolutely dreamy! You're right about takeout tasting so much better in these kitchens. ;)
Hugs~

All so great!
That Kay Douglas kitchen is AMAZING!!! What a collection of inspiration photos! :)
Oh my!! What is it about a kitchen? I LOVE the WOWZA one. Is that space for real? And if so...why does the midwest not believe in the magic of windows. I also LOVE the white and black mix...so fresh and thick with definition. Love the taupe paint too with the classic white. Oh....what is a girl to do and how does she choose? :)
Cheers~

Hi Sherry,
Your 15 minutes is definitely not over here in my neck of the woods. As I said to my daughter the other day, about once every 6 or 7 years I open BHG and find a home that changes my world! LOL..yep that's what happened when I saw yours...picture lights flashing and angels singing. Lame, I know. Even my friends commented that there is a house in this month's BHG that is so "me". Well anyway, not to sound like a stalker but I have been devouring your blog and I have not been disappointed. LOVE! So I wanted you to feel the love, and know that your yummy style is being (and will continue to be for a long time) thoroughly enjoyed here in Los Angeles. And I've turned a few people on to your blog...so your are stuck with a few new west coasters now! Thanks for sharing with us!!! :)
Hi Sherry, I want that kitchen!
You know me--I know all the designers!
1. Nancy Fichelson (spelled wrong)
2. Lindsey Bierman's former home (editor of southern living) as seen in Cottage Living
3. The Brinson's Home as in House Beautiful
more to come--you know these are all my favorites, too, girlfriend.
Wonderful post! I, too, am a kitchen lover and am so frustrated with my lovely, but "just not ME" kitchen! I just did a post and included tons of pics of my dream kitchens. It was fun to see yours as we are totally different! I am a lover of color and you like so much white - my choices might drive you crazy!! BUT, your choices are beautiful and if given one of yours to live with, I certainly would not turn it down,. I would probably just start sneaking color in now and then without even meaning to. Thanks for a great kitchen fix this morning!
This post kills it! Has anyone ever told you that you have fabulous, FABULOUS taste? Going back to study the images now.
Camille
love!love! love! all the white! all the natural light...sigh, I'll take any one of those kitchens.
I've been back over and over and over again to study this post, Sherry. Now here I am again because I've just finished painting my kitchen (minus knobs) and it's a little too sweet for my taste. I want it to have some edge, something masculine -- and keep looking to see what these photos have that I don't! Hmmm, maybe it's a professionally done kitchen with high/end stuff...?
Camille
Wow! Your kitchen looks fantastic!!!
