Here is how it looks now.
This is that skanky blue chair recovered in linen and added nail heads. The curtains are drop cloths.
She found this chair on the side of the road and painted it white. We recovered the seat with a Raoul fabric.
Dang..... we ordered these on the internet and I can't remember where right now but I can find out if anyone wants to know. Framed in Ikea frames.
She picked this up somewhere in Atlanta and added the chalk paint knobs.
The lamp is from Pottery Barn, the abacus is from CB2
The white shelves are from Ikea.
That dang bird...I love it! West Elm.
I loved this when I saw it at West Elm...kind of like a mobile.
Cuteness...
She went to Auburn....duh.
Anthropologie!
Bathroom...shower curtain.
Do you need this many?
The closet! Love the AC DC t shirt!
It totally suits her personality if you knew her! Hope you guys like it too :)
We are at the beach and it is freezing here. I had to go buy a space heater for my feet cause I can't get warm......

Sherry, I just found your blog and I LOVE it! This nursery is fabulous! So many great elements. I'm your newest follower too! So glad I found you.
You knocked it out of the park on this one, Sherry. Love every little thing about it, especially that pouf! Did you mention the source on that?

One of my favorite projects you have done--the sconces on that barn door!! Just bad ass.
It turned out SO cute, Sherry! Great color scheme, so many great details and I love that you reused the old doors. Great job!
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I think you get the picture. Very exciting and stimulating room for a future creative artist designer.
All joys to you,

I'm excited for my son's new room. Yes, not too baby, and I did not want a BABY type room. We had fun with this.
The Circus poof, elephant and dresser all came from Authentique! As a man, I even love this store in Inman Park. Great finds. Check them out on facebook.

The crib is an Oeuf Sparrow Mande and I found at the Seed Factory. A great boutique children's store on the west side of Atlanta.
White picture frames are from Sam Flex.
The plethora of onesies are each individually designed by friends. They even made a few cycling type onsies emphasizing my passion for the sport :)
All assembled by Joe Gasser :-)
It was a perfect Guest Bedroom, and now it's a cozy little nursery without changing too many things from before! I was happy we could reuse the Raoul somewhere, since we had to take out the bolster on the bed. I love that fabric...that and the ceiling were the main inspiration for that whole room back in 2007. I love how the old blue pleather chair turned out! When Sherry brought that back from the upholstery shop, I about fell over. It had a little test run yesterday from a friend and her baby. Got the seal of approval. Now we are just waiting for Baby G to arrive and tell us what he thinks. Can't Wait!!
Sherry, that is the cutest nursery. I LOVE the barn door wall!
i love it, it is so original and i love that it is rustic and modern at the same time!

Wow! That is a fantastic nursery.
LOVE this nursery and loved it even more after I saw the auburn onsie ;)
This nursery is absolutely adorable. Great inspiration for my own nursery. I'm due with a boy in June.
i love this nursery. I LOVE the prints - both the safari/jungle animal prints and the ones of the cat/dog at the end - can you tell me where you got all of these??? I need them!!:)
I got all of the fabrics at Lewis and Sheron Textiles on Huff Road in Atlanta. They have a website. http://lsfabrics.com/fabric_catalog.php?pid=12718
Sherry - I love this!! Were you able to find out where you got those 3 animal prints?? Fab nursery!!!
Anonymous: The small pictures of the cat and dog were painted for her by a friend. I am checking on the 3 animal prints. We got them on a Etsy site.
The baby animal prints came from here:

This nursery is perfect. Love it! I especially love those baby blocks... where did you get them?
I LOVE the nursery. Beautiful and elegant. Where did you get the faux sheepskin rug? I registered for one, but I think it is too small.
Anonymous: Ikea!!!
Sherry,
This is the most inspiring nursery I've seen in awhile! The colors are very fresh, yet still soothing...love the little bird! :)
Janell
what about the light fixture? You are too good!!
Hey Sherry - where did you find the light fixture in this nursery? I've been looking for something similar/boyish/rustic and there aren't a lot of choices out there!!
The light fixture was made out of a basket that we found at Scott's Antique market in Atlanta!
What is the crib skirt fabric? Looking for something similar. And is it difficult to make a crib skirt for the Oeuf Crib? I just purchased it in white and wasn't sure a crib skirt would work for it. Thanks!
Cristi, I got the fabric at Lewis and Sheron Textiles on Huff Road in Atlanta. They have a web site. We literally just folded it in half and placed it under neath the mattress with hook and loop!!! No sewing! Just rounded the corner a small amount.
Thanks Sherry! I live a few hours from Atlanta, but I will check out their website! Wow, it looks great to not have sewn it! That sounds like my kind of project! Thanks again for the info & I love the room!
Hey Sherry...one more question, sorry! Do you know how much fabric you used for the skirt? Thanks!
I think we got like a yard and a half. Fabric is 54" wide and a yard is 36". So we got 54" wide and long. We did not even cut it!
Okay, great! Sounds easy & inexpensive! Thanks so much!
Love love this nursery! Can you tell me where you got the orange blanket and the orange diaper bag?
Saghi the orange blanket came from The Seed factory in Atlanta and the orange diaper bag is Dwell Studio I believe!
Thanks Sherry!
I am in LOVE with this room, it is beyond amazing! How did you make your chalkboard frame? I am wanting to do something similar for our litte boys room but am unsure on how to begin. Also- how did you hang the dropcloth curtains? Thanks so much!
where are the sources for the light fixtures (floor lam and sconce on the barn door)?
Megan...the sconces came from Pottery Barn and the floor lamp from Target!
Where did you get the ottoman? It's adorable!
Could you tell me where the yellow side table came from?? I have been looking everywhere for one!!!
Hi Sherry, did you make the headboard? Do you know if that is knotty alder wood? BEAUTIFUL room!
i love this nursery too! the colours are exactly what i have planned for my new living room....did you paint the crib? if so, i'd love to know what colour it is!
thanks
I love the crib sheets. Maybe I missed it, but where did you get them? Thanks

This is so adorable. I love the onesie hanging on the wall!
It has such a fresh and inviting look. Is that a paper mache bird?! So cute. Love.
sherry/mande...the nursery is cute...love the barn doors....what type of wood is that? how tall are they?
I am in love with your nursery. I am wondering if you can tell me where you found the abacus looking piece of wall art. I love love love it! Thank you!
Loving the barn doors - is that a diy or did you find them somewhere? So in love with this spae.
LOVE all the details, Sherry! Such a cute nursery.
Did you purchase the barn door or is it something you DIYed? I love that and saw it on Pinterest, but the link didn't work to get to the original page on your blog! We need a headboard and that would be perfect. :) Here was the link I found that didn't work: http://designindulgence.blogspot.com/2010/08/baby-gassers-nursery.html
where did you get the pillow or do you know what the name of the fabric is?? I am completely in love with it!
Sherry, I really want to make a wood wall like yours but my husband and I can't figure out where to start. did you build the wall and paint it? Is it real wood just stained? Did you already buy it like that? I love it so much and want something similar in my babies room but not sure where to begin. This room is adorable!!
I have another question,,, did you paint your crib? If so do you remember what color of grey you used?
