I have the rest of the pictures from the staging project today.
Let me start by saying this...... when Cari first met with the homeowners they discussed everything that needed to be done before putting the house on the market.... taking into consideration that it had to be done in a month to take advantage of the busy spring market!
Everybody worked in tandem with scheduling and getting things done. Team work people!
Remember this....your home is probably the biggest investment you will make.....why wouldn't you do everything you could to get your best return?

Now....back to before and afters. Plus the professional shots are back so I have a few of those to share.
The TV/Den before
After....we replaced the coffee table and some of the pillows.
This is where the leather chair ended up.
Before
The real estate picture. You can see we removed a few pieces of furniture.
Before
Why did we get a new coffee table? Because it looked too heavy especially coming into view up the stairs. Just a small detail.
Heading upstairs to the bedrooms.
Before
This is the headboard we moved to the main level guest room. We then purchased this cute World Market one!
And the real estate picture.

This is the real estate shot.....it shows that we changed the curtains to white.
Master bath before
After
No before of this basement bedroom....
But we re-arranged the whole space and added white bedding and pillows! Most of the furniture and bed were on the opposite [same wall as the door] . We flipped everything to give a clear pathway.
I don't have a before of the porch either but we added the pillows, rug, and table accessories trying to brighten it up as much as we could!
Before
Added more color here...
This view right!
I showed you the before and after of the laundry room but here is the real estate shot.
After
We actually changed out the faucet from silver to this oil rubbed bronze one.
And what you can't see is we added this rug....so cute.
Somebody asked about the kitchen pendants.

I wrote up a few things that were done to this property before going on the market.
STAGING TIPS
Doing all of this will help your home stand out and will give a buyer no barriers to move forward with a purchase:)
Last few professional pictures of this great kitchen!
And that's a wrap! Thanks to Leslie for being so damn awesome and bringing me some chocolate one day......
Who wants to move to Boulder?
Happy Easter everyone:)

Beautiful home! Even though I didn't see a picture of the island before I can see that painting it white made the kitchen so light and airy. Great job!
You're killing me here (in Roxborough Park). If they have an open house, I'll try to find it.
You did a wonderful job staging Sherry, everything looks refreshed and current!! I bet this home sells quickly. Today is the day we turned over our keys from our previous home, 2 years ago, time sure flies!!
I love your work! We are in the process of selling our home and I took note of a lot of your staging tips. I have dark stained kitchen cabinets and I was glad to see the cabinets here were other than the popular white. Do you think stained cabinets will bring less buyers? I am deciding whether or not to paint mine.
Great job! You gave them the great finishing touches. Love it.
You brought so much light back into the home. Lovely! And I hope everyone realizes that your staging tips also apply when giving your home a good spring cleaning!
Love these posts! A belated thank you for your expertise and energy. It was an aerobic event to say the least. SO pleased with the results! Can't wait to see your magic with Field Court next month :-)
