ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 2

OK....it's week 2 of the One Room Challenge.  Where 20 designers are invited to makeover a room in 6 weeks!  I am a linking up with about 150 others on Thursdays, but please check out the incredible talent on Wednesdays.  For those links go to Calling It Home.

To see week one go here

I might not have the whole plan for you today but hopefully enough inspiration to prove I am serious and can pull this off.  I hear what your saying....."bless her heart" for even jumping in without a firm plan.

"Hello my name is Sherry and I over commit"

Don't count me out yet:)

Let me try to organize my thoughts so I can present!

Here are the basics.

1.  Plank the walls.
2.  Paint them BM White Dove
3.  Paint the bookcases SW Urbane Bronze
4.  White panels on the double window
5. Are you yawning yet?
6.  Relaxed roman shade on the dormer windows
7.  Buy a grayish headboard.

All of these elements mean I can go pretty much anywhere [between now and next Thursday] with my strategy.

Here are the dormers.  I want to wallpaper the inside of them and paint the drawers SW Urbane Bronze.

I posted this on Instagram....and it was definitely a contender.

Then I saw this combination....

That made the other one seem "so last year".

And.... you're thinking.....where are the end tables...lamps etc.

Well just simmer down and give a girl a break.

I got this.

Thank you for both the laugh and the inspiration. I, too, have taken on a bit too much at the moment and I'm wondering why I'm doing ORC but it'll come together, right? Love the direction you are headed and all of the inspiration pics. It'll be a soft, beautiful room!

Like Anonymous said "I wish you were my sister"...ditto. Thanks for showing a photo of my bedroom so I can remember the only time I have ironed the sheets.

Sherry I adore the direction that your room is headed towards! You did SO much better than I did in my room this week.

It will be fabulous and all come together. Your rooms always do. And if not... there is wine!!! And Urbane Bronze is one of my go to colors!! That "strip" is one of my faves and I've used several of the greiges on it. They just work! can't wait to see more!
