ONE ROOM CHALLENGE FINAL REVEAL

How I got to this finish line is almost a miracle.  I mean not one like Moses parting the red sea or anything but still a tough one around these parts:)

All my clients hate me right now.....I'm pretty sure I gained 10 lbs by the way my jeans are fitting....my house is a mess and there is no food in my fridge.

Things are pretty bleak around here.

Do I wish I had one more week....#hellyeah.

All complaining aside these are exciting times....today you will see the reveals of 20 designers and bloggers who have had 6 weeks to finish up one project.

I am going to keep my comments brief showing before and afters so you don't have to go back and forth!  Friday I will give you all the details!

Let's start here.....

Before

After....Paint donated by Lowes [ORC sponsor]
Gallery wall by Minted [one of the ORC sponsors]
Sofa by Lee Industries....sadly NOT donated:)

After....

Wallpaper from Decorators Best [ORC sponsor]

Light Fixture from Crystorama [ORC sponsor]

I love this hand painted brushstroke lamp from Jana Bek another great ORC sponsor!
Small art was donated by Linda Donahue.  She sent it to me a while back when I bought some art!

OK.....that's it.  More details on Friday!

My sister is thrilled with her new space and the fact that there were so many sponsors [thanks to Linda for all of her hard work on that end....I owe you girl!] really helped to pull this off.

I also have to thank my sister Maggie [the Bunny] for all of her help:)  It was definitely a family affair!
Sudi.....you worked miracles with what I gave you for curtains....love you girl.

You can see all of the fabulous before and afters here....

Hello Celerie....you'll need to append your Black & White book for this fantastic space!!!! Sherry it's beautiful!!!!! Every single inch is gorgeous.

Sherry,
It's just stunning and so peaceful. You knocked this one out of the park.
I can't get over the white floors, light walls and that amazing urbane bronze on the built ins. It doesn't even look like the same space.
All the new furniture and accessories just mix beautifully.
Now, go get yourself a pedicure (compliments of your sis) and sit back to enjoy all that you've created.
Seriously, to outdo yourself every ORC. How is that possible??
I'm saving my pennies, so I can hire you one day. That is, hoping you'd come OOP for me.

You have seriously BLOWN MY MIND WITH THIS!!!!! Holy shizzle...I don't even know where to start. I guess the most important thing to note is that you have completely and totally transformed this space...like every square inch of it. This is massive!!!! Wow. Ok...composing myslef. My favourite, favourite, favourite part is the round table nook with the half black walls- I'm seriously obsessed with that vignette and am so inspired by it. Adore the mix of the wood with the check table cloth and the pillows on the wood chair- gah...it's just so ridiculously perfect. I love how you've managed to completely change the feel of the entire space. Now it seems so modern urban Scandanavian farmhouse and I LOVE that. You've just really done something amazing here Sherry...so so sooooooooo good!

I quickly zoomed through the "reveal rooms" when they were posted but I was still charging to the finish line (staying up all night) to finish my own ORC. I have now gone back and reallllly looked at your room in detail, studied it really, and it is just stunning from the white floors to all of the small details and everything between. I love it all, white floors, the deep color on the walls, fabrics, curtain trim, etc. It's amazing!!! And being an Atlanta area gal I'm hoping to try the restaurant as well!!

The change is amazing! I’m most impressed by the vision where you painted some but not all of the wood kitchen cabinets. I love how the bit of brown looks so warm with the black and white and actually makes the wood look more modern. Same with the granite countertops. Anyone else would have said they had to go, no way to make them work. You not only kept them out of a landfill, kept to a budget and showed us how to make them fabulous again. Brava!!
