SCOTT'S

It has actually been a few months since I cruised through Scott's.  Between work and the fact that I don't need anything [like that has actually stopped me from buying before!] sometimes I try not to go.

In all honesty I go for inspiration as much as anything you know?

Like the finish on the antique chest....raw.

And of course pillows....

I have tried to use this Romo fabric before....so cute.

Love this Kravet stripe fabric also.

You guys know I am a pretty neutral person but if I have to pick jewel tones then I love these....where the blue is "teal" the red is "spice" and the yellow is "sunflower".

Great textiles....

Audrey [Audrey@SouthernSHED.com] always has the prettiest pillows....and she gave me some advice on growing maidenhair ferns!

Don't water from the top....put the pot in a bigger container and put the water in the bottom of it.

Great lighting

I hate stripe chairs.....said no one ever:)

Nice bathroom vanity.

I was looking at this Amy Howard chalk paint color to maybe paint something.....someday.

I have a client who wants a vintage flag to frame....

And how hot is live edge furniture now?

There you have it.

Instead of eating a pinecone and bugging the crap out of me....
She has been sleeping peacefully beside me this morning!  There seems to be no rhyme or reason with this girl.  Many of you gave me suggestions for her....yes I do use the Kong when I crate her.

Also....the suggestion of getting a second dog is out of the question.  It was all I could do to talk my husband into getting one.  I do send her to doggie day care one day a week...and we have a neighbor who has a Portuguese Water Dog that she loves to play with.

I have to keep telling myself it has only been a month since we got her.  I think she is testing me and here's a newsflash Cami........

I will win:)

I haven't been to Scott's in ages either. If I go I will spend money and I have been saving for my deck makeover which includes furniture. I would love to frame an old flag, too. May check those out next time. Not sure I have a wall for one though except in the bonus room which still needs to be painted...maybe this fall.

I've always enjoyed all of your posts, but I am especially loving the Cami updates. The two of you will work your relationship out and you will both be winners!

Gah! My former husband (doesn't that sound so much more civilized than ex?) brought a live edge table to our "union" back in the 70's. I hated it. Who knew? Best, Beth C.

Such great things, colors, patterns and textures. Each one a springboard for a gorgeous design. I love your Cami, what a cutie. My own Bentley would be happy to teach her a few manners pointers.

Sherry, Any way to find the name and manufacturer of that white porcelain industrial hanging pendant. That is exactly what I've been looking for!!

You help me get my Scott Market fix -- I'm in serious withdrawal having not been able to go for a year -- it is six hours away x 2. Love the pillows and need to go get some. I remember there were several there, particularly the one with the discontinued designer fabrics. Please keep posting these Scott photos.

.ove the Raw finish on the side board. I have a few pieces in my home and latest postings with this very raw finish as well as aging the creases with a smear of white giving it an unearthed feel to a French find.

Love this shop, I see so many pieces I would love to have.

Thank you for this sharing.

Fondly,
Doré

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before Cami settles down. Such a cutie! Love those vanities and that raw sideboard! Great tip for watering the fern too :).

That was fun. Loved most of those pillows, and the light fixture. I have to go catch up on how it's going with your new family member. Sounds like there have been a few ummmm challenges.... smile...
