The last post I did on Room Service Atlanta, I left out a room that a good friend of mine did. I felt like such a poop head especially when she emailed me with a "sad face" saying she forgave me.
Nobody likes to be left out....so I am dedicating this post to my girl Jennifer Schoenberger. Who is hilarious and very talented...and I am also declaring July 5th "Jennifer Schoenberger Day".
You remember how I went on and on about her room last year?
I mean painting those numbers on the 3 white refrigerators that HAD TO STAY was brilliant to me. Just saying.
How about we take a look at this years before picture.
Yeah...this room should have a big ole sad face on it. How could you even think of making a better life for yourself if your surroundings looked like this.
So Jen had a plan....which you can read about here and take a look at the finished space.
She made those burlap curtains....
Now before you get all "why does she deserve her own day"....
Here are more pictures of her work...
How about a little kitchen "redo" she helped with....
Yeah...who is sneering now right?
...wowza!
And then there is her beach house makeover...
Which you can take a look at here
Barn door envy.
I think you will agree that she did not deserve to be left out....and I am not sure if they will declare her "day" an international holiday or anything....but I think you will all agree she can "do a little decorating" alright.
In other news....have you guys been to Hancocks and seen the printed burlap?
It was news to me....
And last.....I posted this on Instagram but just in case there is one person out there that did not see it...cause I busted out in a whole open mouth laugh when I read it....
We are building Arks here in wet Atlanta.....

After seeing your pictures of Jennifer's work, I think next year we should have a gift exchange on her holiday.
She is amazing!
Wow, Jennifer is seriously creative! I can see the artsy side of all of these rooms and there is so much light and personality added. It's like night and day. Wow...and....btw I can not stop laughing at the "poop head" comment. Your post make me a laugh a lot and it's worse when your just returning home from sushi and have a White Russian buzz...lol...

Thanks for sharing her beautiful spaces. That white kitchen is so fresh and pretty.
Love the giant numbers on the fridges - cute for that extra fridge in the basement too. :)
Wowza is right!! I love it all.
I agree, Jennifer should have her own day - her work is amazing!! That kitchen seriously might be changing the course of my kitchen remodel…….
I'm glad you left her out so that I could see her great work! Have a great weekend!
Yes, Jennifer does deserve a day in her honor!. You, also deserve your own day, for using the oh-so-perfect term "poop head"! There are a lot of us PH's out in the world. Some days, more than others!
I'm with you on the red, white and blue stuff! I love my country, but not the decorating with red, white and blue.
Cheers!,
Barbara
After reading this late last night I was sure when I woke up this morning that I had dreamed it. I am one lucky chic to have such an amazing, loving and oh so generous friend like the fabulous sherika (who has some of the kindest followers in blogland). Love u girl!
She is very talented - I still can't get over the numbers on the refrigerators - who thinks like that? I remember them from last year and still am amazed the second time around. Love the framed quotes on this year's wall too. And that kitchen - wow.
I haven't seen the printed burlap - nice!
Happy weekend - stay dry :D
Good thing she forgave you....very funny! Her work is fabulous.
Tell Jennifer you just didn't want her to share the spotlight with anyone else. She has mad design skills. That little dark room turned out adorable. The artwork is very clever.
Love her design talent. That kitchen and painting drapes....brilliant!
She is so talented...talented with a good message and kind heart.
Would that be funny to have wine labels made up like that and put them on bottles as gifts?
Yep I wuld have to say Jen deserves a day, she doesn't beautiful work. I'm going to steal one of her ideas too. We're about to get soaked here again too this week so yanking out the canoe!

well, anyone who loves Burlap as much as I do, and so much so that they freaking painted a fab design on it, deserves her own freaking day. But wait, can I get a day? Just because I live in Miami? I'd say great things about you all over the beaches. p.s. no idea how I missed that Instagram post. Freaking hilarious.
