THE REST OF SCOTT'S

Even though I am in deep install mode [the kind where you can't sleep and think about how the room is going 24/7] at the shelter this week I wanted to show you the rest of the goodies I saw at Scott's.

It would not be good manners to just leave you hanging after only pillows.

Can we start with "I want this chair"....

.....Cause I need another chair like a whole in my head.

What is not to love here?  Those lamp bases look like candy corn though :)  Melted.

More CHAIRS......seriously.

 Nifty little light fixture....

A picture of the Nixon's.  Don't know why I took this or even posted.  BUT....notice the dark haired son with his head tilted to the side.  If that was me I would have insisted on a "do over" right????

This vendor yelled at me and said NO PICTURES.  It made me nervous like these pumpkins had the answer on how to ban nuclear weapons on the inside or something.

Or they were stuffed with laundered money and she was waiting for her contact to come get.  Am I missing something????

Me likey.
These are like the ones I have on my mantel filled with magnolia leaves.

OK...what is not to like here.  The chest.....check.  The trays.....check.  The table.....check.

And then you come around the corner to more color.....I love that picture!

The creaminess of oyster shells against old barn wood.  I'm in.

Nice and graphic right?

I want to use these in a project.....anyone?

Thoughts?

Nice little bar cart....Might have to paint the laminate....maybe chevron?

More of those dang chairs.....

Picked up these cute benches for my shelter space!

Why do chairs keep cropping up?

Proof that magnolia leaves look good in anything.

AND...I love how the pink pops with the natural of the wood and green.

Shoot....it is always after I see some of my pictures that I think....maybe I should have bought this.

I like a tall cooler....so much easier to get to the beer.

And what is more simple and classic that some pine branches thrown in a dough bowl.

 Old bottles....

There are a few bloggers that would have wanted this little beauty!

And...this blogger would have liked to score these!

Maybe I got these pillows and maybe not :)  Ralph Lauren fabric.....nice heavy linen.

15 days until the next Scott's.  AND November is usually a pretty good one.....

If you follow me on instagram you have seen some sneak previews of my shelter room.....I am pleased with it so far...just some tweaking.  I am working on the bathroom now with very minimal funds left.....trying to pull "cheap and cheerful" out of my ass.

Last week I did a guest post for Jennifer at The Pink Pagoda on pink!  In fact she is doing 31 days of pink so you need to go over there and see all of the yumminess.

It's Wednesday.
What????  News Flash right.
Tell everyone you know....

Shafrazzled.

Sherry, you are killing me with all those chairs and benches. That first chair reminds me of Milo Baughman-esque one. Love. Oh, and that lucite and brass chandelier would have come home with me. That is the bomb (not sure people still say that, but whatever). Can't wait to see your UMCH room - I'm sure it's amazing!

Oh, I need the houndstooth pillow in the back. Need two actually for my sitting room. Maybe they will be there next month so I can see the color.

I had a hard time concentrating on the second half of the post. I always annoys me when people that selling stuff won't let you take pictures. Its free advertising idiots! Now we know not to buy her silly pumpkins.

Sherry,

I'm surprised you didn't recognize the "son" in the Nixon picture - it's David Eisenhower, son of President Dwight Eisenhower, husband of Julie.
Still love your style!

It's probably a good thing I don't live anywhere near that market, because I wouldn't be able to walk away from those chairs, the red chests or that lucite chandelier(although I'm sure it cost a fortune). Thanks for posting though, so we can live through your adventures!

I almost made it down there this month but at the last minute just couldn't make it happen. Hope to see you there in November, so I need to practice the art of restraint right now! Hope you and your readers will stop by to enter my giveaway for a $50 Novica gift card!

You make me so jealous when you post about Scotts! I was able to go in September and was seriously aroused by it all! Being from Tulsa I don't get there as much as I would like. I know what you mean about wishing you had bought something because I am kicking myself over several things that I wished I had of bought.
Always love reading your blog.

Uh, the melted candy corn lamps look like something your boyfriend would have and love, and you'd have to figure out how to get rid of them when you move in together... but the oyster shell lamp is wooonderful! I like the little tiered chairs you bought - Scotts looks fun, and i have no idea what the deal is with the lady and the pumpkins, and no photos. Once I took a photo in an antique shop, and the owner told me no photos too. She said Chinese people were photographing antiques and duplicating them... or something like that... i don't think i really look very Chinese...

Those lamps are to die for!
I will be at Scotts with my daughter, SIL, and MC, on DECEMBER 7th......with CASH!

I totally understand the no pictures request. You wouldn’t want someone to take photos from your blog without your permission… Would you? Same difference – it is their work that you are capturing without their permission.

Perhaps, if you had offered to give the pumpkin lady credit on your blog she might have had a different outlook to your picture taking.

As it stands now… you have her work on your blog after being told no pictures.
