SCREENED PORCH DESIGN

I hope everyone is having a wonderful, relaxing Easter Sunday.  It felt good to sleep in [7:00....why can't our dogs figure out the sleeping in part?]..... and really not have an agenda today.

I have been working on a screened porch this week.  I  already purchased the furniture, which is the Saybrook Collection from Pottery Barn,  and along with the seating collection I bought the Abbott Faux concrete table.

I looked everywhere for nice, comfortable, not overly expensive outdoor furniture and I have to tell you that this collection was the best deal.

Plus...everywhere else I checked it was a 4-6 week wait!  I received all of this within 10 days, and had it "shipped to store", so NO shipping cost!

I already ordered the Dash and Albert indoor/outdoor rug,  and the Frog Drum table from PB.

A quick review...I have one of these rugs in my kitchen and they are the "bombdiggity".  Take it out back and hose it off.  Great if you have dogs...or "rug rats".  I mean that in the nicest way....:)

The ceiling is painted a pretty blueish/green.

Now the hunt for accessories and a cool coffee table.  I would like something white......

OK...back to your relaxing Sunday.....

Below are a few ideas I have on accessorizing.....

My husband and I just finished talking about expanding our patio this spring. Putting the cart before the horse, of course, I had already started to think about furniture. Thanks for the Pottery Barn source!

Does the weather in Atlanta get any better than it is today?

Thanks!

Great ideas. Wish I could stand to use our deck in the summer. Too darn hot. Needs to be covered and that will not happen.

What a great look. Dash and Albert rocks (although I waited 4 months for a platinum scroll rug for a client, and when it finally came, it had a defective dye job! One month later, still waiting for a new once, just fyi). I do love their designs and have used them successfully. This one looks great with your scenario. Hope you had a good week with the pooch :)

Gorgeous! I have to invest in this PB all weather stuff ... I am still using my grandmother's wicker ... and I am afraid I am just ruining it ... but what good would it be if I didn't use it? So ... there lies the dilemma!

Mmmmm... I like that tablecloth! I also have rugs that I can just hose off - life with dogs, eh?

Easter was sooo beautiful in the big ATL. Bubba (a UGA boy) winning the Masters was frosting on the cake!
Noticed how close you are to 1,000 followers, so I pinned a few of your pics to pinterest...hopefully it pushes your following....
See you at Scotts?

I had exactly the same issues while shopping for new outdoor furniture. I couldn't wait until July for Restoration Hardware.
My PB order is being delivered this Thursday--I cannot wait!

I'm excited for the reveal!

Whoa...I recommended the same rug (bigger size) for a little beach cottage rental...right on the beach in Newport... they call it the "Beach Shanty" even though it is on multi-million $ property. We are just freshening it with Overstock and Home Goods and Pottery Barn (read: $0 budget)...but using that aqua teal as accents...not sure if this baby will make it to the blog. LOVE what you are doing...as always.

What is it with dogs & time change? Ours is pacing the floor at 4:00 ready to eat. Doesn't she get it? The navy blue and brown are gorge!
