Booyah....the Show House was a 10 in my book!
After going to the Decorators Show House for 25 years....faithfully can I tell you how special I felt getting to go in early and preview it?
I did.
AND now I get to show you a few pictures so that you will want to go see for yourself. You. Must. Go.
The Foyer.
Painted floors.....blue vases......furry benches. What is not to like here. Melanie Turner created a classic design.....and she was nice and pretty!
Here she is talking to Stan Topal. Look in the background....do you see the concrete and moss?
This room was crazy good. The art work and the walls......and in the next picture...the perfume bar.
and look at a close up of the walls and trim...
I think this color was BM HC 132 Harrisburg Green.
One more shot..
Designed by Tish Mills.....check out that light fixture!
Look what fabric I found sneaking around?
This room was called The Butlers Pantry by James Farmer and Maggie Griffin. Love the plates...
Same room....the place setting.
And these gorgeous chairs.....
Love those "baby" watermelons :)
The kitchen and all the bathroom's were done by the brilliant Matthew Quinn and his team at Design Galleria. Are these shelves killing you?
If they aren't...then these knobs will.
Or these pulls....holy.....
The cabinets look funny in this picture, but they were just a creamy off white color. Notice the mirror panels over the windows with sconces.
The hood is limestone. Faint.
These mirrored doors.
The islands [yes there were 2] look black but were more of a taupe/brown color.
Look at the hardware on the doors....
I love the detail here with the shape of the rug. Shut up. This kind of thing is brilliant.
The detailing on the curtains.
Love this Schumacher fabric.
OK...there is so much more...but saving for the next post.
I am going to leave you with an image that stopped Ally and I both in our tracks. We told the designer Jimmy Stanton that this image would be all over Pinterest.....see for yourself
Yep.
The whole room is awesome.
You gotta stay tuned.....
It opens this Saturday and runs through May 13.
Today is my small porch install. My niece who is graduating from UGA with a degree in Interior Design [in May] is going to help her "home schooled" aunt! Should be fun.....

This was a prime example of what can be done when you have equal amounts of talent, space and MONEY! What a delicious feast for the eyes. Thanks so much.
Good night. You Southerners can de-cor-ate.
Thanks for sharing the gorgeous!
Sweet Pajamas. Those shelves are indeed killing me dead. Thanks for capturing the little details because they are what make it special. And why I'm not nearly as creative as I've managed to fool people into thinking I am...because I would never think of curtain trim like that.
Booyyah is right. That house is stunning!!! Love the shelves in the kitchen. Ughgh such a dream! xoxo Elizabeth
This post was such a treat! Ahhhh I wish I could see it in person! Can't wait for your follow up post.
Lots of beautiful designs in that house, whew! The sitting room with the fabric on the walls, the kitchen, and I guess it was the dining area with the chartreuse chair, draperies, pillow - love those. Thanks for the tour Sherry! Have a great weekend and hope you intro us to your niece!

You said it first concrete n moss peas n carrots
Such beautiful details, Sherry. I wish I lived close enough to see it in person. I put the same mirrored door detail on the pantry in my new kitchen. Love the hardware chosen here, but I am guessing it is antique. Do you know? I found that was the hardest item to find that I liked for my kitchen redo. Looking forward to the next post. Have fun with your niece.
Best...Victoria
I'm so glad you had fun!! I love all the images yo posted!!! Wish I could've gone!

Love the peek! Everything is soooo gorgeous. Those kitchen cabinet pulls belong in the post I put up yesterday on placement of cabinet hardware. I may have to redo it! Those brass brackets are gorgeous too. Thanks for the peek. Can't wait to see your install photos.
Love love it all, The mirror above the windows is something I have wanted to do to my doors down the hallway for years, now you have given me another idea of the lights, love love the lights. This is on my list of things that hopefully, my now retired hubby will do for me!! wish me luck, happy install, xo Kathysue
This is truly spectacular - I love the mirrors which bring enhance the smaller windows. The shelving with the brass supports are stunning - this is taken to a new level.

Thanks for the peek...wish I lived close and could come...fabulous, and yes I am dying over the kitchen shelves and limestone hood...my favorite. XO, Mona
Cannot wait to go this week! The mirrors are a great solution for windows that are too short, I will borrow that idea! Congrats on reaching over 1,000 followers!
I have never been (shhh- don't tell anyone), but I definitely plan to go this year. So gorgeous! Love that kitchen!!
Amazing showhouse......geez this has me chomping at the bit to take a road trip! So beautiful....love going to a really good showhouse. The ones around here always scream too modern for my taste. I need to work my way down south!
You know design is your passion when you look at rooms and just want to be in them and touch and feel everything and you sigh at every image. What a gorgeous house. Thanks for sharing it. Now I want to change everything I'm thinking about doing in mine. gRrrr.
I NEED a source for those shelf brackets. So many amazing details!
Swooning for the shelves and those amazing fittings and that fabulous rug detail!
I like a well stocked bar - but a perfume bar!! I need that!
Kelly
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Kitchen sink should have had a window in front of it. The beautiful shelves could easily be placed else where.
