Man oh Man.....miss one months of Scott's and it felt like there was SO much good stuff that I had never seen.....
I know I have said this before. Is Scott's cheap? No not really. Can you find deals...definitely!
Can you find anything under the sun....practically.
See....
I guess if you are going to open a steak house???? This sucker had a price tag of 695.00 on it.
Seriously though....all of these vendors work SO hard to hunt, paint, repurpose, and build for us.....
Here are a few goodies that I spotted the last few days...
Who isn't loving old gold frames these days......
Or this gorgeous mirror....
Crikey....this dough bowl was huge. I mean the size of a small crib. What is the deal...why are they getting so big now....like you could live in one. "Pardon me...which dough bowl do you live in....oh the third one on the left".
Great for a porch....nap time?
Trina......
Call my girl Sudi...404 495 9811
Nice mirrored coffee table....
I am still liking a little industrial in a room....
AND...some plexiglass. Please follow me home....
You hate this right????
OK...these are quite nice.
Pillow addicts.....unite....these are for you :)
These made me shiver just a little.....
As did this.....great for dogs. Faux.
IF i could paint.....a series of these would be nice.
Don't get me wrong...I love a nice retro chair...just NOT this one. Bad contemporary from the 80's probably.
Nice bench. Sold.
It was like a bloggers convention there this month! I ran into Mandi. She brought a whole bus full of people up from Birmingham.
Lori who was searching for some things for a client.
I finally met Lisa Gabrielson who has a fabulous booth at the Queen of Hearts Antique market.
I scored a few things from her for a project up on Lake Burton.
Picked up a piece of art from Andrea Costa for the same project.
Here is one of her pieces.....incredible talent.
One of the best things about going to Scott's is how social it can be! After 25 years of going...I know so many vendors who are there month after month......so you have to chat a little.
And of course a barbecue sandwich....a must.
I have more....later this week.
Today I am washing everything in my house. Like I am sure it will be a hundred loads.
I would rather do laundry than cook though. What about you?
Have you watched Design wars????? So many Atlanta Designers have been on it. You need to check it out! Comes on at 1:00 on Friday afternoon.
Yeah...I know. What is up with that? WHO is watching TV at that time of the day?
Alrighty then....Sha Ray is back to Sunday afternoon chores.
Rats.

You must be seeing those pillows and that art in the building I didn't go in. I went today all by myself and had a blast. Shopped quickly and was through with some steals. Sharing them in a bit! I didn't know Lisa did Scott's, too. I met her at QOH.
Missed you again, bummer. However, I did see the copper bull! It was leaving on a trailer beside me yesterday. Visited with Andrea and almost bought that lovely bowl in your photo. Spent 6 hours with a client and bought a truckload of furniture! A fun & successful day!
Design Wars???? What channel? Love all the cool stuff you found. Especially the art!
I love that painting you bought it's so calm and wild all at the same time. I wish we had something like that up here...oh yeah we do it's called BRIMFIELD! I can't wait I need a heavy dose of shopping!

Oh, Scott's, how I miss thee! It's been way too long since I've visited. How did you not take those acrylic/lucite chairs home with you?? So cool. Glad I can live vicariously through you! Haven't seen Design Wars but need to start.
Sherry I love shopping vicariously through YOU!! You are such a hoot. Loved the Lucite chairs, did they follow you home? At least one?
Laundry is truly the never ending story. It sounds like you are starting your Spring cleaning, good for YOU!! I spent half the day taking pictures of a coffee station in my house. Company ready, left over from Easter but getting ready for overnight guest!! Happy Laundry!! I mean Sunday,

Wow sooo many amazing things!! I was laughing at the dough bowl comment, you are so right, they are like little apartments (in NYC at least) I got a few in for orders and seriously they almost looked like coffins....crazy huge! Love the beautiful frames and all the other goodies!! Thanks for sharing.
Swooning over those gorgeous plexiglass chairs and the faux white leather sofa!
I always love your selection at Scotts!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend!

I was there today! I bought one of those dough bowls! lol
One of these days I'm calling your girl Sudi up for some pillows. And I think Lori has shown (or has) a piece of Andrea's art too and I've always admired it.

you make me laugh! love your blog!
I'm so jealous that you have such a great place to shop like Scott's. The items that I have seen from there are amazing! I don't know about Design Wars??? Channel?? I always love to try to see if I can come up with a better design before the designer.
I am always so glad to live Scott's through you when I can't attend. I hate missing the show (and the BBQ sandwich). Don't my kids know that their coaches should not schedule games on Scott's weekend. Yikes.
Just finished my banquette in my eating area - those pillows are screaming my name! Missi
Wow, amazing finds! What a fun day. N.G.
sorry i missed scott's this weekend. looked like SO much wonderfulness! i had to deal w/jr. prom-- ugh! see you there in May
Sherry- Thanks for the sweet feature! I loved meeting you, finally, and can't wait to see finished Lake Burton pics. Have a great week! Lisa
This looks like a blast!! If only this was closer to me!
I missed Scott's this weekend. I was busy with other things. Looks like you had another great visit. I didn't know Lisa Gabrielson sold at Scott's too. I've met her before and she is very nice. I love her style and her booths at Queen of Hearts are always my favorites.
Oh, where is this amazing place you show us?! The pillows and chairs and oh too much to comment on really!!!
Great finds...loving all of the pillows - I'm a pillow addict like you!! Great painting...
I love all of those pillows! I'm trying very hard to break my pillow addiction, so hoarding more of them is probably the wrong move for me. I'll just eye them greedily on your post!
I would much rather cook than do laundry. But any type of cleaning is at the very bottom of my list! Baking is at the top, preferably with a glass of wine by my side.

Ouch, that retro chair made my brain hurt... but i liked the white sofa, and loved some of those pillows. The artist's work is wonderful... Pieces like hers would look good anywhere with any style... so soft, and such heavenly colors...
