PROJECT UPDATE BEFORE AND AFTER

So while I am trying to get the One Room Challenge under control I've also had a client getting ready for a party Friday night.  Lucky for me the furniture arrived on Thursday....whew.

This was a huge renovation by Ladisic Fine Homes that was started back in January with an incredible outdoor area added.....you can read about that on this post

I'll give you a few more updates today....

The dining room has a whole new look....

Before
This room had great bones...check out the ceiling trim and I did love the pretty blue walls...

But she was ready for a new look and we went with this gorgeous wallpaper which is now discontinued so don't even ask me about it!

Those precious hummingbirds:)

Then we added this gorgeous Circa Lighting chandelier which has always been one of my favorites!

And a stunning 72" round table....

Tuesday the curtains were installed and it was an other game changer!

Then on Thursday these fabulous chairs from Charles Stewart showed up!

With some great Schumacher fabric on them...a little modern to mix with the traditional!

Rug shopping next!

Before in the family room...this was already a good room but not great for watching TV.

The Charles Stewart sectional came covered in a Kravet performance fabric. ....It looks gray but is actually more blue.

Good TV watching on this thing right?

This Woodbridge coffee table that I bought at Market a few weeks ago.

The TV was located in the bookcases that were painted a green color.

So we moved it above the mantel and also changed the shape of the bookcases....

Painted them a dark gray blue....Before

Then I accessorized....the fun part for me!

And added this Charles Stewart swivel chair....

Before

After

This beautiful chest got moved to another area....

I added these prints....and we will add a nice green plant in this corner...or something....haha.

Curtains are hung...

Some beautiful sheers just to add softness....
With some nice textural Kravet trim.

There is so much more...pillows and pretty stuff added....I love working on this project!

But it's Saturday and I am off to Sheepie Day in the Park.....a gathering of Atlanta area Old English Sheepdogs.  Cami is kind of standoffish with other dogs....a little socially inept [haha] but it's fun for me to stand in a sea of Sheepies!

Have a great weekend...and stay tuned for week 5 of the One Room Challenge on Wednesday.

Oh, my....that pillow fabric on the Charles Stewart sofa. I know you've used it before and I love it. Can you share the details?

Lovely as usual. So inspiring. Thank you.

Wow. What a lucky client. You are just the best , my favorite for years. When is your book coming out? Yes, I know you have no time for that but seriously...

Always enjoy seeing your projects. So inspiring! Can you share the details on the dining room table? I am looking for something similar to replace my current table which is oval and too large for my square dining room. Thanks!

That must have been a fun project - gorgeous all around!
I love Old English sheepdogs! Had one as a teenager. Hope you (and Cami) had fun.

It is amazing how changing the shape of the bookcase openings make such a difference. I am admiring the burled (?) wood
box on the original design - did you source that?

I also like the accent pillow fabric on the new sofa.

It's all good! You have been running on high test!

Sherry you made this room so lovely. The curtains and trim are so pretty and I love the paint in the bookcases. Have fun at the park.

Love everything you’ve done so far and can’t wait to see it all finished. Dining room fixture, wallpaper, drapes and chairs are gorgeous and you’ve transformed the TV room into a much more usable space and it looks terrific. Looked like the Old English Sheep dog get together was so fun.

On a completely different note, awhile back you talked about Podcasts you’ve enjoyed. I finally listened to my first one, S Town, that I think was on your list and loved it! I’ve looked and looked for that post but can’t find it. Can you please recommend a few more of your favorites?

Thanks
