FABRIC STORY

Well we had 2 of the most gorgeous days here in Atlanta and now.....it is going down in the 30's tonight.  What in tarnation is going on with the weather....

Cra
zay.

The other day I posted this image on Instagram

I am working with a client that has a leather sofa close to that saddle color.

The family room is off the kitchen which is white, black and stainless.

It's no secret that I am a lover of black, cream and camel.....I even started a pinterest board to reflect that obsession.

Back to the fabrics.

The fern fabric which is from Sanderson is killing me so hard.  I believe it also comes in a wallpaper.

To get some texture in the mix I found a new favorite fabric from Thibaut.

Linen

It's a nice upholstery weight fabric that is so beautifully thick with raised stitching.

Here are my 2 other favorite colors.
Sand

Bark

The room needs to be painted so I pulled a few neutrals.

We also need 2 chairs so I rummaged through my Lee Industries samples.....

Of course there is this dining area in the kitchen that could possibly be wallpapered.....

It is still a work in progress.....so hopefully after tweaking and perfecting....I will share what was selected!

My whole house is a wreck today because I am having some painting done.....which I will be sharing soon.  Boy.....when you move everything away from the walls you realize how dusty the place it.

Might need a refresher course on how to clean.

I love this and am working on something similar right now, same palette. Love the textures in there and that Thibault Linen! Good luck with the roller coaster weather! xo Nancy

That fern print is yummy. The raised design on the linen jumps out--even in a picture. Such a pretty palatte. Excited to see it come together!

Hi Sherri, love that mix. The Sanderson paper is in the running for my powder room right now, funny enough! I have some of the fabric and the paper is just gorgeous. I love the green one, too. That Thibault is a favorite of mine -- I reupholstered a client chair in it and my guy hated using it, said it should have been backed. Hope that's helpful. Gorgeous, gorgeous. Can't wait to see it done.
