THIS AND THAT

Quite the catchy title huh?  These last few weeks have been full of before and afters.....and I feel like I have hit the bottom of the ice cream container.  It will take time to make more:)

So I did what any self respecting blogger would do and scrolled through my pictures.  I  came up with some pretty to share with you....whew.

Here are a few things I saw while shopping for those jobs.

This rug at World Market.  You could have bound it with any other color and I would have walked on by but you slap a little blue on something and I get positively giddy.

Same with black & white!  This pillow cover at Crate and Barrel

Pottery Barn score big points with me on this duvet cover.  Dayum.  Iwantsobadly.

You remember when I found this wood table at HomeGoods and used it in a project....I saw it again just the other day [79.00].  I have seen it on Overstock for more than double the price!

I wanted to show you the other color ways that Designer Guild fabric comes in...Here is the one I used with a cream background.

This is a yellow background.

And a white background...

Love all.

At the mart Chelsea Textiles [known for their beautiful Gustavian and French Country reproductions showed us some modern pieces.

Gustavian

Country French

Mid Century Modern

Loving the handles.

And these.

A few chairs that caught my eye on the website.

 This one....

These spoke to me in a dream.....buy me please.

We are expecting a light dusting of snow...maybe 1".  That means it is panic time in the south.  I just borrowed this picture from FB from one of my friends.
I don't know about you but if I am stuck in a 1" snowstorm I do not want to exist on bread and milk.   My preference would be chocolate and wine.... the staples.  Just sayin.

Crikey people.

This is the winter that will have people dancing in the streets neked when spring finally rolls around.

Those chests are so beautiful, especially that first one. Just lovely. I also love Pottery Barn lately, one just opened near us so I am there often.

You are cracking me up. Yes, chocolate and wine sounds much better. I hope we do get some snow. I love watching it.

I will dance naked in the streets when we can finally stay over 50 degrees!

You are so right!!! I always find it funny that suddenly people need bread and milk and think they will be trapped in their home for days. This weekend is going to warm up and where I live there will be less than an inch. No worries here.

Just had some chocolate and wine last night. Don't wait for the snow...live now.

Love that fabric and all the other goodies. I want to go to World Market…but I miss my Orange County Home Goods….used to love swinging by there. Now I have to go out to the 'burbs. Just fog here today. Snow would be fun. Stay warm.

The kids are due home early because of the snow, any moment, and I'm already eyeing the bottle!

I saw that wooden table at my HG as well and knew I should have picked it up. Maybe it will still be there but I doubt it somehow.

I'm right there with you! Anything with a little blue and you can count me in. :)

You should have seen the empty shelves of kids rain boots. I had to go three places to find my son a pair! I'm with ya on the wine. I have a stash of Zing Zang and vodka so I am good to go!

I recently started following you and I must say you are hilarious...and talented!!Stuck up here in the Washington DC metro, we don't have a lot of funny and talented bloggers!! Thanks

Fun pics as always... though it's gonna be painful with no before and afters for awhile.

They are calling for less than an inch accumulation here in the Roanoke Valley, which evidently means "send everyone home early in case of bad roads". Ya don't have to tell me twice.

My only question is... what do people have against Nature's Own Whole Wheat? I think that little extra bit of fiber would be quite valuable to a diet of milk and bread. haha.

And can you believe I don't have a drop of wine in my house? Knew I should've stopped at the liquor store on my eventful ride home today... there's always vodka, I suppose. :)
