THE MART

Visual Overload….fo realz.

This weekend I crammed in Scott's and the show at the Mart….yes…. even for a professional shopper like me it can be overload.

I have always had the ability to shop all day….skip lunch and keep going.

It's just a talent.

What can I say.

Starting with the mart and specifically pillows because they are the bane of my existence right?

My friend Sudi has to come first.  This is her 3 showing at Atlanta and I am so proud of her.  She took that next step after showing at Scott's all these years and is now headed to Dallas this week to set up there for the first time!

To all of my designer/blogger friends in that area please find her [located at space TMI-714] and show her some love! [Designs by Sudi].

Here are some of her beauties….

Of course I got there and started playing which tore up her whole booth:)

I asked her what was selling the most and it's hands down….neutrals.  I know right?

I did see a lot of pink this year…
Design Legacy...

And then yesterday while I was shopping for an install….this at Target.
Always on point right?

And World Market….

Target also had some "orchid"…

Now on to Indigo….you would think this is the color of the year.  Maybe they just mean orchid to be a nice accent and not full on in your face….please no more….I want to punch you color.

These are by Dansfield and Ross

From the JDouglas showroom

Gorgeous blue walls…

And this at World Market

But could blue be the color of the year…it would be like using black or white right?  I mean those are a given.

Classics.

OK…..you guys keep asking me for the paint color used in the previous before and after….I posted the name of it in part 2.  Do you just look at the pretty pictures?

Wish me luck today….my car is loaded!

Shabam!

I want everything in the Design Legacy booth…. especially the art! I have a slight obsession with pink :) And, Sudi's pillows are perfection!

I am so into indigo right now it isn't even funny. I am swooning over the double happiness porcelain. I NEED them for my collection...can non-designers (you know what I mean...cant think of the right word, not enough coffee yet) buy those somewhere?

Sudi has crazy gorgeous things. I'm loving blue lately, so much that I think I'm finally going to bring it into my family room. Thanks for the great inspiration. ;-)

Love all those pillows and I must make it to market one of these days. Maybe the next show. My neice works there so she can get me in.

Indigo is ALL OVER! In fact I'm writing a whole post about it and actually decorated for winter using those colors! I'm in love with the pink water color pillows!

I love pillows but my husband,
not so much! That said, he does
like blue, so I might be able to
slip in some indigo.....So nice to
see blue being embraced, as it's
my favorite color, and it is great
to see it popping up, everywhere!

The show sounded divine--like you!

I've already posted twice about blue. Maybe Pantone was thinking of lipstick, or blush, when they came up with Orchid?

I'm kind of digging the pink paintings. And it looks like the pillows are also hand painted.
