About a month ago Kim from Savvy Southern Style asked me if I wanted to be a part of her "my favorite room" series. "Sure" I said. While my brain said....."that is like a
year month away so I have plenty of time to tweak the space, photograph, edit and pick the best images".
In usual "Sherika" fashion 2 days before the deadline I got busy in pure panic mode.....which room to do....can I do a complete kitchen reno in a few days.....will my husband please leave for the office so I can start this gig......
Day one I did not even brush my teeth until 3:30 in the afternoon [or get dressed for that matter]. I learned that being a photographer and stylist is dang hard work. It spilled over into day 2 after I realized some pictures were crappy and I had to try harder.
Is there anyone out there who can tell me why I always wait until the last minute to get something done?
Seriously.....this has always been an issue with me.
Kim. That girl is amazing. She is my painting muse and paints like any day they might discontinue the whole process and she will be stuck with something that has only been painted 4-5 times.
